Spurs show new military inspired jerseys:

Talk about a fail. Hard to look at.

Can we stop with the camo style unis? They NEVER turn out well. Want to honor the military? Put a damn patch on your traditional uni, bring a group in and give them floor seats or something else; but the camo unis have got to stop.

Marcin Gortat traded to Wizards. Gortat ranked 5th in NBA last season in points per play allowed on post-up plays (min. 100 plays).

The Washington Wizards will acquire Marcin Gortat in a deal with the Phoenix Suns for Emeka Okafor.

The proposed deal will include Shannon Brown and Kendall Marshall to the Wizards, while the Suns will also acquire and a top-12 protected 2014 first round pick along with Okafor.
Okafor is currently out indefinitely with a neck injury.

Suns have FOUR first round picks next year...in most talented draft in recent history. Wow.

Gortat is really good, really underrated, great in the pick and roll.

Yeah, that's a nice pickup for Washington.

He looked out of shape and sloppy the few times I saw him play this preseason, not surprise here.

Just got a theScore update that Lakers may let Kobe become a free agent at the end of the season. SMH. If it's not Lebron then it's him. Who gives a shit what could possibly happen next season.

Protected up to 12? Good trade for Washington.

GS gives Bogut a 3 year, 43 million dollar extension, wow. He is really good and an important piece when healthy but that's nearly 15 million a year.

Does this solidify Washington edging into the playoffs?

I already had them in but I would think so. Says a lot about what they think about Vecsely though.

Who ever reported that is wrong. They're negotiating an extension

Incentive laden isn't it? Based on him staying healthy, thought I read that somewhere.

Didn't pick up his player-option on his rookie contract. Not good for him.

Surprised the Suns gave up on Marshall already. Says a lot about Archie Goodwin being the backup. I don't think Marshall has a spot in Washington though behind Wall and Eric Maynor.

Phoenix wanted the pick and didn't care about EO's health, obviously.

Emeka Okafor's herniated disk is "much more severe than initially anticipated," according to J. Michael of CSNWashington.com, and he "might be on the court again within three months."

    This makes sense about Marshall.

Okafor's indefinite timetable to return was a key factor in the Wizards' decision to trade him along with a future first-round pick for Marcin Gortat and three other players whom Washington will waive.

I love Kendal Marshall, but he doesn't have an NBA game at all. I wish he would have stuck around Chapel Hill one more year.

I like him because he is a pure pg and those are a rare breed today but he's just not good enough to stay at this level.

I had them in barely as well but his overall game and experience makes it a far safer bet IMO.

Kendall Marshall waived by Washington doesn't surprise me really. He just wasn't an NBA prospect. If you're a lottery pick, you take it...

Joe had bit of a down year at 42% but he should get better looks this year and be around 45% which is great. Terry did have a down year last year but he is big time clutch, makes big shots and shouldn't be counted on a ton so whatever he contributes will be a plus. I think you are way too high on the West and GS in particular, I love watching them play but they are strictly a jump shooting team and you're not going to be elite or win titles like that. No way do they beat Chicago in a 7 game series, the Bulls are too good defensively and DRose would eat up Steph. Not sure how you can say it wouldn't be close, not how I picture it at all. To be honest I'd love to see GS make a deep run because they are awesome to watch.
Yeah you might be right, looking forward to finding out who's right. Going to be a great season. I'm really looking forward to the NYK implosion, and seeing how some of the young WC teams stack up. Seeing how QQ Howard fits in with Houston be really interesting.

I hadn't noticed this when it happened. Best lol of the day for me, as nothing is quite as funny as a shitty player that no one would know anything about if it wasn't for him being a psychological nutjob taking shots at elite guys.
