2013/14 NBA season chatter - let the LBJ hating begin!

Looking at the NO Pelicans roster, I think they'll have a shot at making the playoffs. Anthony Davis, Ryan Anderson coming off the bench, Eric gordon finally healthy, Evens at the SF, Holiday at PG, Aminu a lock down defender, Morrow a solid scorer off the bench. Tons of versatility on the roster. I'd almost go Heat route with position-less roster on the floor.

Yeah they should be around that 8 seed, Davis has put up huge numbers in presason(yes I know, preseason). Always liked Jrue Holiday but not sure how Tyreke Evans fits in there.

Rivers will carry the Pelicans to the post season, clearly.

....what if he's a little better? Even though he was statistically abysmal....at his age if he shows some improvement he can hang around for 4+ years

I'm taking the over (guessing high with 6-7 years...yikes! Lol)

Looks about right, think the Bulls could beat Miami tonight as they may have a let down from getting their rings and the banner raised.

I could see the Bulls winning but I don't think the reason you gave would even be 1% of the reason.

I remember the Bulls blowing out Miami after they won their first ring by about 45 on opening night, didn't even look like they wanted to be out there as they just wanted to get their rings. Not saying that is gonna happen but I certainly think they may not be 100% focused because of that.

Miami beat the Celtics 120-107 on opening night last year.

I was talking about 2007, just an emotional let down.

    Pacers?

17 Ast to 20 TO as a team. I didn't get to watch the game, but Pacers just beating what is in contention for top 5 worst team in the NBA isn't a great opening night.

Again, opening night, but 95 to 85 over the magic isn't a good argument.

I also just think the Pacers are better talent wise than the Bulls. Thib is going to be fired in a yr or 2 for working his players to death and limping into the playoffs. He should really follow the Greg Pap plan. Rose is getting 35 min a game in a blow out because......

Can't believe Steve Blake is starting for the Lakers

Thinking about the morons on JJ Huddle saying how Redick would never make it and Adam Morrison would be an all-star

107-95 yep it would be so hard for someone to get 90....
