As far as whatever your retort is going to be, I've done more than enough on this site to prove my NBA knowledge.
I'm telling you there was no noticeable effort slippage. Was I scouting the game? No lol But there was no obvious slippage defensively.

Or our coach....I think the Pistons would have made the playoffs last year if they would have had SVG.

LOL come the fuck on man. He wasn't as good. Your "eyes" not as good? the entire team wasn't as good as last year. My eyes/analytics tell me that.

Then why are you the ONLY ONE to not notice the slippage? You don't know what you're looking for, even if it smacked you in the face.

Give it up dude, you can't look worse on the entire last couple pages. [closes eyes and hopes for Robj to respond with something even more dumb]

When I said better I meant more talented obviously. But atleast there is something there to work with, and the talent is young so it can be molded into something greater/better. Those other Cav's teams were maxed out.

Our coach had something to do with it, but he also coached the Cavs to the best record in the NBA 2 straight years. Do I think he's an awesome coach? No. Do I think he's the reason we didn't make the playoffs in the worst conference in basketball in almost 30 yrs? No.

Okay but we are splitting hairs here.

He was/ they weren't. Like I said we are splitting hairs here, not worth arguing.

They should of regardless really. If they didn't have Jennings and Smith.

Possibly, but it wasn't a noticeable difference, I saw elite at guarding 4 positions, which no one else can do. I'm over it though. Tired of you guys kickin my ass lol

    No we aren't.

LeBron James was not as good of a defender this season as he was in the past.

Because my knowledge>>> lol Just messing. I just said we are splitting hairs. If he was a 9 two years ago he was an 8.5 last year.

I don't think me losing all respect for any NBA knowledge I might have given you credit for because of your failure to see something completely obvious and your dismissal of advanced statistics is splitting hairs.

I hate your arrogant, pompous, look down upon everyone attitude btw. Other than that you're cool though lol
  • lhslep134
And truthfully I don't really care that you don't give a f*ck about what I have to say. But I will not sit idly by when I read ignorance.

It wasn't obvious, like I said. He was still elite defending the 1 through 4. Also team defensive breakdowns play int that as well, but you already knew that.

My point is that this year he sometimes caused those breakdowns when he never had before. And guess what captured that fact? His lower defensive rating.

And he was also forced to react to more defensive breakdowns from his teammates, but you don't factor that in. They weren't nearly as good defensively as in previous years.

I'm working on the "smarter than thou" thing. In fact, I've stayed away from it on here except for footwedge.

But dude, what you were saying was obviously so offensive to my basketball sensibilities that I crossed the line between argumentative and combative to douchey. So for that, my apologies.

I was just messing with you. What I said wasn't that bad any way, I said that he was still elite and there was no noticeable effort drop off. There was but it was marginal, very marginal. Nothing to get worked up about.

No no not the lebron effort thing. Before that, I was starting to respond in a douchey way
