2013/2014 Columbus Blue Jackets

sportchamppsHuge game tonight could be a 4 point swing for the jackets
-
Azubuike24One of the best PP's I've seen from the CBJ all year...
-
sportchamppsHuge 2-0 win
-
sportchamppsPretty Pissed Off by tonight's result. With 11 second to go just clear the puck out of your zone and take the fucking point. Do the bluejackets not remember missing the playoffs last year because of 1 point. Take the point and see what happen in OT. instead you allow a goal with less the 3 second SMH....
-
Azubuike24Huge ouch tonight...needed a point. Detroit wins. New Jersey wins. Devils play Carolina, Calgary, Ottawa and New York Isles. Then, they host Boston, who will undoubtedly be sitting guys after clinching the top seed.

Refs screwed us. Should have never been in our zone in the first place. -
sportchamppsTonight is pretty much a must win.
-
Azubuike24Through 1, CBJ dominating the Isles. This is how it went vs Colorado for 2+ periods. It would be nice to get up 4-0 or 5-0 and then they can afford to joke around in the 3rd.
-
Azubuike24Jackets look like shit in the 2nd. The Islanders have about a dozen shots and the entire game has been in Bob's face...

Barring a collapse both Detroit and Columbus make the playoffs it seems. Detroit plays Carolina and Buffalo and then St Louis and Pitt will probably mail it in(hopefully) so a lot of points to be had if they stay hungry. A Detroit/Pittsburgh series would be entertaining, and CBJ/BOS is a good matchup as they're very similar teamsAzubuike24;1601823 wrote:Jackets look like shit in the 2nd. TedShecklerI'd rather catch Philly and play a series against the NYR.

That's by far the preferred path. Would rather not get skullfucked by the Bruins in the first round.TedSheckler;1601911 wrote:I'd rather catch Philly and play a series against the NYR.
Philly's remaining games:
@ Florida
@ Tampa
@ Pittsburgh
vs Carolina
CBJ's remaining games:
vs Phoenix
@ Dallas (with a 1-0 advantage)
@ Tampa
@ Florida
CBJ definitely have the tougher road, with Phoenix and Dallas battling for the last spot in the West, and Philly also currently holds a 37-35 advantage in regulation/overtime wins, so it's tough to see how they can jump over the Flyers (though not impossible) -
TedShecklerNJD lose tonight. CBJ magic number down to 4. Playoff chances up to 93%.
-
gorocks99Jackets give up the game tying goal with 15 seconds to play and are headed to OT...
-
gorocks99But Joey scores in OT!! Jackets win, looks like the Leafs are gonna lose. Playoffs are all but clinched now.
-
GOONx19BJs!
-
queencitybuckeyeTies the franchise record for wins in a season with three to play.
Really good win against a team that needed it as much or more. -
sportchamppsThey really let them play tonight lots of missed penalties
-
Azubuike24Need the 6 seed. Otherwise, I'd rather be the eight. Nothing will be worse than having Pittsburgh bring 40% of the crowd to NWA for the playoffs.
-
Crimson streakDamn was hoping the wings or jackets would lose tonight. Caps are pretty much done now
-
Azubuike24Luck will have it though, Columbus will probably finish 1 point ahead of Detroit and get the 7.

gorocks9997.1 isolated just the crowd noise from the OT goal last night: https://soundcloud.com/97-1-the-fan/cbj-crowd
-
sportchamppsI would rather play Pitt who is falling apart and has a shaky goalie then play Boston.
-
gorocks99Love this pic from last night's game:

sportchamppsAwesome picture lets get a win tonight as we start up 1-0 on the makeup game
