Problem is...we need them to snap out of it. I think two of the next 4 series Detroit has are with Chicago.
Which makes it that much more important the Tribe plays well in their remaining games with Detroit.

Bad base running that inning boys
  • Ironman92
Back to back dumb base running ends the inning.

Good job by Hill. 5-1 Tribe after 7
  • royal_k
    Raburn with another blast. 6-1

heading to work bring it home boys.

Without question. 7 games left with them. 4 at home. Seems unlikely for us to go 2-5 or 3-4 in those games and still with the division. 4 of the 7 or better would be huge.

    Ballgame. 6-1 final.

2 games back now and heading to South Florida. Gotta get 2 of 3 from the Marlins and hope for Detroit to cool off.

I knew it was bad, but I didn't realize it was that bad.

Mark Reynolds’ run-scoring single — his second RBI since June 29 — gave Cleveland the lead in the second.

Ride this momentum as long as possible. Treat the Detroit series as a playoff series...because it just may be.

Best of 7...and we need to win 4.

Lost in all of this...the Royals have won 9 straight as well. The Central is just sizzling hot.

Awesome to be in a pennant race in August. I dont even care to talk about the Browns and Lebron, please dont show up to any games in Miami and pretend to be an Indians fan.

This is the best starting pitching they have had in a long time and will us in every game. There better be a ton of people going to the ballpark next week and get behind this team.

    Yep...I got mine.

Re-upped for next year today...The Tribe offering early bird pricing for renewals.
After completing the renewal by phone,
Kaitlyn from the Cleveland Indians...."Well HitsRus, it look like you are on board with the Tribe for 2014!"
Me...." Kaitlyn, I've been onboard since before you were born." ;):)

Go tribe! Raburn needs to play every day. Hammy projected his numbers this year as a full time player at 42 HR's and 120 ribbies. Play the man....somewhare....anywhere...or DH him. I would bat him 4th or 5th.....alternating with Santana.

Going to Monday's game...and maybe a second game. Have to start beating Detroit.

I would rest some players and the bullpen on Sunday. These head to heads against the Tigers are too important with each game counting as 2 game swings.

I like what management did at the trading deadline which was next to nothing. We bought a left handed gas can...and he should be in Colunbus not Vinnie.

Let the new guy fix it down there. Vinnie has been bad....but not demoted bad.

I actually like the "flyer" in getting Repz... because our only real deficiency is a left handed pitcher out of the pen. Anyone know where Aussenmacher is?

We need that lefty specialist. I also like sending Pestano down. Let him get some innings work some kinks out and try and find his stuff he has had the last 2 years. He will be back in a couple weeks no big deal.
  • Con_Alma
Short term assingenment. He'll be here when the rosters expand.
  • ohiobucks1
Plus, IMO if Pestano takes it ok, works hard in AAA and has a few good outings, it may help his confidence and make him better for it.
