Esp on bigs. Bigs are always over paid, there are only so many 7 footers on the planet, and even less that are even slightly athletic.Fly4Fun;1466425 wrote:He's probably going to get a max deal as there always seems to be a couple franchises that will overspend on a gamble. -

Same here. Unless, of course, he wants to stay.
Seeing that they would potentially throw in Jefferson and Biedrins. Both expiring contracts. -

Youd rather have dwight over that?? -
wildcats20If he wants to stay in LA, you keep him and build. But if he decides to leave, you get the best you can for him. And that, right now, is the best I've seen or heard about.

ohiobucks1[h=3]Details of Pelicans' offer to Evans [/h]July, 1, 2013JUL 1

By Nick Borges | ESPN.com
UPDATE: More details have emerged about the offer sheet New Orleans reportedly presented to restricted free agent Tyreke Evans on Sunday night.
Sam Amick of USA Today reports that the Pelicans "made a lucrative, four-year offer" to Evans in last night's meeting, which may be bold for an enigmatic player like Evans but it also may be what was needed to prevent Sacramento from matching such an offer. Amick also reports that Evans is expected to meet with the Kings as well as Detroit Pistons in Los Angeles today. But this looks like a quickly moving story that could find a resolution within the next week, depending on whether Evans signs the offer sheet with New Orleans.---
The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to upgrade the small forward position andESPN.com's Marc Stein reports they met with Tyreke Evans on Sunday night just after the new salary cap year began.
And then we had TNT/NBA.com's David Aldridge follow up with this tweet: "... Told they will have an offer sheet in hand--a big one."
The Pelicans should have around $7.3 million in salary cap after they acquire Jrue Holidayfrom the Philadelphia 76ers. A first-year salary around that amount isn't too high and there is a good chance the Sacramento Kings will match that amount. Evans may be seeking an annually salary around $10 million.
The Pelicans are showing interest in Chris Copeland and Andre Iguodala. -
ohiobucks1[h=3]Big offer coming for Splitter? [/h]July, 1, 2013JUL 1

By Nick Borges | ESPN.com
San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter enters the market as a restricted free agent and according to Yahoo! Sports, he might get an offer sheet that averages $8 million to $9 million over fours years.
Teams that might make a run at Splitter that need a center and have that cap room are the Atlanta Hawks and Portland Trail Blazers.
The Spurs are expected to match an offer sheet, however they may pass if it gets too high -
robj55Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans would not be a good match imo.

robj55Lakers interested in Mullens supposedly.

Pick6What do you guys think of the whole "stayD12" campaign by Lakers nation?

Yeah....Lakers are strapped and can't go big. Can only offer 3.2 million....that's more than Mullens made last year but guessing he'll fit someone's needs a bit more for a slightly bigger contract. He's putting some serious time working out and in the gym this offseason. -
robj55
I'm not sure how much more he is going to get than that at this point in his career. He is very talented but still wildly inconsistent. Some games he looked like an all star and others like a D League player. The Bobcats didn't use him properly, too many threes and long twos.Ironman92;1466741 wrote:Yeah....Lakers are strapped and can't go big. friendfromlowryJust saw on Sportscenter's bottom line that Oden is likely to choose between Spurs, Cavs, Heat, and a couple others.

He'll probably average 15/10 for the Spurs, and blow out his knee again for anyone else.robj55;1466760 wrote:could be a huge steal for the money he is likely to get offered. -

Great fit, don't understand why there isn't more interest in OJ Mayo. Yet Derek Fisher has championship teams fallign over themselves to sign him.wildcats20;1466872 wrote:OJ Mayo seems to likely to join Doc in LA. -
