Last years Gold Glove Centerfielders and Rightfielders errors over the last 3 years:

    Andrew McCutchen - 13
    Jason Heyward - 17
    Adam Jones - 23
Josh Reddick - 13(2011-2013, 2010 barely played, 2011 played half the year)

    load em up.....need something here

Really nice play at 3rd. Barehanded pick and throw home to nail Santana.

Then a DP ball is thrown away and we get 2...lol

The ball must be dying out there tonight. I thought swisher had a homerun in the first as well as kipnis last inning.

Well according to hammy there is a pretty good wind blowing in from right field. So that would explain it

Here is a Stubbs breakdown from someone who has watched him close to 500 games in CF.

His jump has improved over the years and is slightly above average on most balls off the bat.....he is excellent in the gap and this play is far and away his best. On balls in front of him he is about average at reading but also this play I've seen him only make two sliding catches and zero diving catches....zero...and his sliding attempts are just awful. He is pretty good on balls over his head and if the wall isn't involved he can get to as many balls as anyone. On the most difficult OF play where the ball is a line drive where a jump must be made and a wall will be hit......he lets up....but is good when he gets time to jump over the wall.

His arm is above average but he rarely seems to actually throw a runner out.

His speed can make those gappers look easy....but unless he's fully extended....more CFers than not also catch those balls.

His speed is upper echelon but not being able to slide/dive on balls is just utterly ridiculous and IMO allows several guys to be better CFers than him as a whole......but overall Stubbs is a very good CFer...but a little overrated.

Well good thing he plays right field then ;)

I think everone is forgetting he wont be CF for the Tribe. He is a WAYYYYY above average RF just because of the speed alone. Easily, imo, the fastest RF in the game now that Ichiro is over the hill.

EDIT: Crimson beat me to it.

Swisher likes to play the game like it's a game. I think his attitude is infectious.

So did anyone hear the answer to the trivia question.

I know for sure McGwire, Giambi, Tejada, Canseco

Then I guessed Reggie Jackson, Matt Stairs and Eric Chavez. Not sure on any of them.

    Kingman.
  • Laley23
    Thanks.
  • Laley23
Fucking Perez. I thought he would fuck us last night. Just a day early.
  • Crimson streak
    God damnit Perez
  • Crimson streak
Lol wow that was a home run
  • Sonofanump
    WTF, that hit the railing.
  • ts1227
    Oakland just got fucked hard
  • Laley23
    Whats the point of replay?

I love the call, but that was terrible...
  • Laley23
Perez will just do it himself.
  • Midstate01
Just saw it. Wow. Wonder how they came up with that decision. Seemed pretty obvious. Perez will send them gifts.
  • ts1227
Assuming Pure Rage doesn't blow it, do the A's play it under protest? Though that hasn't worked for anyone in 30 years, with replay in place and a slam dunk tape showing the umpire is a dumbass it's not something with a precedent. Might as well at least make MLB kick it around even though they'll deny it.
