Pens-Hab OT thriller last night wasn't too bad either. 7-6 final.

Not a big hockey fan but I do enjoy the playoffs..I saw the Chicago game today because I live here and people were watching it.

Agreed. I will admit though I love tough defensive games more than high scoring ones, but there's a little more rivalry in Chicago/Detroit than MTL & PIT

I might have to get tickets for Columbus/Detroit on Saturday because I'm going to the OSU/Illinois game Sunday. Make a great weekend out of it

An absolutely nasty goal by fehr in ot as the caps come back from 3 down to win in ot vs Boston

Good to see the Jackets win last night.

Blackhawks have 43 points already, or 45% of the maximum possible 96 points this year.

To put it in perspective, the Kings (8th-place team in the west) qualified for the playoffs with 58% of the maximum 164 points last year (95 out of 164). To reach that mark, the Blackhawks would need to get just 13 points in their last 25 games.

Blackhawks win again. Now have an 11 game won streak to go with point streak.

Ferrence and Boychuck were horrible, just horrible. No way they should have blown a 3 goal lead. Seeing Marchand bury the penalty shot was awesome.

lol the northeast division is pretty much the same, the couldn't switch that around at all? I don't mind that the bruins play shitty southeast division teams more but it'll be fun to see them play Detroit though.

Blackhawks streak appears to be coming to a screeching halt ... down 5-1 to the Avs tonight.

And the CBJ have the current longest streak in the NHL. They've gone 3-0-2 in their last 5.

All while missing everyone. Hellofan effort this month. Nationwide had a buzz today for the first time in years.

Jackets win their fifth straight today, beating Detroit for the second night in a row. Glad to see the team playing with confidence.

They're fun to watch, even if they're not that great. I hope they can pull a few more in a row out and get into the playoff hunt... although I think it'd be better for the franchise if they tanked and got a top draft pick lol

they've lost 2 straight. While I don't think the wheels will completely fall off, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go without a win for 3-5 games.

    Crosby...45 points (12g, 33a) in 26 games.

Kunitz: 17g/19a for 37 points, insane for him.

Letang: 26 points (20 ES) in 22 games.

I will enjoy seeing a lot of Toronto, Montreal and Boston as well. I've had enough of these stupid 10:30 start times. I'm sure teams like Vancouver also love playing Detroit at 9am or 11 am on weekends, or the even worse 4pm local puck drop.

Detroit and Vancouver being in the same conference is similar to Boston making a trip to Iceland for an in conference game

Pens erase a 2-0 deficit late against the Bruins to get the 3-2 win. That was awesome.

    WTF?

I was at a bar and watched the 2nd period and most of the 3rd, and left after they didn't score on a 5v3. They came so close so many times, I was shocked they didn't get one. Of course soon as I leave, they score 3 goals and I miss all the action.

Jackets lose 2-1 in OT to Vancouver but still manage a point.
Goalie Bob is the 1st star of the week, c-ya Steve.

I thought it was pretty much over after the Pens came away empty-handed on that 5-on-3 PP as well. Needless to say, 3 goals in the final 7 minutes had me going nuts.

Was watching at home and after they killed the 5 on 3 i thought for sure they'd hold out for the win. Our defense fell apart at the end. I thought we'd at least make it to OT and get a point. Great game though.

Thankfully I stayed awake for that game.

I might get flamed by Raw for this but oh well. Boston to me isn't as good as their record indicates. Run a 2-3 trap and have a hard time generating offense. They're a quick score team who will go up by 2 and sit on it for the rest of the game. Thoughts Raw?
