Nice column on the Iginla trade, how it worked and why it was a surprise to the league. -

Justice will be them losing in the first round to the Rangers, Jets, or Islanders.Heretic;1415726 wrote:http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl--jarome-iginla-trade-to-the-penguins-an-improbable-move-that-isn’t-supposed-to-happen-in-today’s-nhl-132458359.html

Crimson streakThe caps are surprisingly only 4 pts behind for the 8th spot after that terrible start. Ovie has been playing pretty damn good lately and Holtby finally settled in. Hopefully they can make a run to get in the playoffs

No, justice would be a seven-game Finals series with the Pens and Blackhawks, with game 7 going to a marathon overtime.Raw Dawgin' it;1415841 wrote:Justice will be them losing in the first round to the Rangers, Jets, or Islanders. -
End of Line15 in a row for the Pens!

I guess when you don't have a hockey team to root for you resort to being a dick.TedSheckler;1416990 wrote: -

Classyposter58Why don't teams require players to wear a clear mask like this?
They're all about safety yet they allow the entire face to be unprotected -

I'm sure he's been hit with bigger and harder things in his mouth. -
killer_ewokSid actually got his jaw broke on that deflection. Out indefinitely and is expected to be ready for playoffs.

Love the optimism. They're in if the season ended today but unfortunately for them they've also played more games than anyone else in the Western Conference, and 8 of their last 12 are on the road. Gonna need to keep getting points - particularly in the two games against Nashville and the two games against St. Louis - down the stretch.
When are Dubi and Foligno coming back? -

Big_Mirg_ZHSSerBob Is a beast. Need to stock up some points between these games we have coming up. Cant afford to have 3 point games with the preds and blues as well.

gorocks99Other news:
Blues get Bouwmeester from Calgary. Kings get Regher from Buffalo.
It will be interesting to see if the Jackets are willing to be buyers at the deadline or stand pat. I, for one, don't want them mortgaging any future (that is, trading one of their first rounders) unless it's a very good deal. -
Big_Mirg_ZHSwe have three first round picks next year right? Wouldnt mind getting rid of one if its a good deal as you said.

TedShecklerRumors were swirling last night that the CBJ are interested in Pominville. They need a goal scorer. Jackets will be buyers.
