2013 Cleveland Browns Thread: RIP Chud

IggyPride00
LOL.@FootballExpert: The last four coaches fired in the AFC North have been the coach of the Cleveland Browns.
The biggest joke in Cleveland Sports history, and that is saying alot. -
jordo212000Looks like McDaniels will be the primary target..
-
MulvaI would expect that I'll be alone in this view, but I actually like McDaniels. Was one of my top few choices last time around.

Sad but true. This is the most likely scenariojordo212000;1558867 wrote:Looks like McDaniels will be the primary target..

IggyPride00More Belichek retreads.
I would rather Thom McDaniels coach this team than Josh at this point.
I wonder if they will trot out photos of him as a Browns fan as a child like they did Chud. -
jordo212000Deadspin's take mirrors many of the opinions already posted:

SportsAndLadyI just can't take Iggy's depressive posts.
Guys, he's a 60 year old loser who remembers their NFL Championships and wants to replicate that success to 2013. Literally, zero clue WTF he is talking about.
No one should cry (or give up their fanhood, SMH vball just stop callling yourself a Browns fan) over Chud getting fired; he shouldn't have even been hired. Banner and co just saved themselves a 7-9 2014 season where they would eventually fire him then.
Get your QB, get your coach, and we'll be fine. The sky is not falling, despite what the loser, most likely homosexual iggypride wants you to believe. -

Offense went from 314 YPG to 339, and defense went from giving up 363 YPG to 332. That's not all Chud and I know there's way more to it than YPG but that's pretty good improvement I would say.SportsAndLady;1558861 wrote:I liked chud. I really did. But what did you guys see that you are now so upset to see him go? Lol I don't get it, the guy didn't do one thing this year that made us any better. -
IggyPride00
Don't mind him, his asshole is a little sore from bending over so Joe Banner could give it to him.jordo212000;1558874 wrote:You are one classy dude.
He's been a staunch defender of the regime, and it is failing spectacularly. -

I'm sick and tired of rebuilding. New coach, new offense, new defense. Learning new schemes every fucking year can't be easy. I liked the offensive scheme this year, just didn't have a QB to pull it off after Hoyer went down. The defense fell off at the end of the year, but that's to be expected when you have an offense that can't move the ball. I don't remember any, in game decisions Chud made that cost them the game. At some point, the players have to be responsible for not executing, especially in the NFL. How many teams have gotten better by changing coaches every year or two?SportsAndLady;1558861 wrote:I liked chud. I really did. But what did you guys see that you are now so upset to see him go? They haven't even fucking been here for a year...there's not much to defend, or criticize.IggyPride00;1558879 wrote:Don't mind him, his asshole is a little sore from bending over so Joe Banner could give it to him.

The fleecing of Indianapolis was by itself enough to show me they aren't completely retarded who are worried about dollars. -
sportchamppsS&L how do you expect the Browns to get better if every two years they change systems. Even professionals in the NFL need time to make the most out of a coaches system. I don't know how you can defend a decision when you have seen this same decision not work out. Give a coach a chance. The GM and Prez hired the guy if after one year you think you made the wrong choice then maybe they need to be looking at themselves for making the choice to hire him. Even Belicheck only went 5-11 his first season in New England before turning them around and becoming the genius everyone thinks he is today. If New England made the same choice who knows what would have happened to the patriots and if anyone would even know who Tom Brady was.

Agree with the scheming being difficult to keep changing. I'm not happy about having to change the offense, AGAIN. Thankfully, we were only 1 year into Chud's career here, and it's not like Horton or Norv are going anywhere. At least they don't appear to be, who knows at this point.se-alum;1558880 wrote:I'm sick and tired of rebuilding. New coach, new offense, new defense. If the team gets better, they stop changing coaches, so that question is pretty irrelevant.se-alum;1558880 wrote:How many teams have gotten better by changing coaches every year or two? -

It's simple..hire a coach that makes everyone realize he won't be fired for 10+ years.sportchampps;1558885 wrote:S&L how do you expect the Browns to get better if every two years they change systems.
Hire a good coach, and your stability issues are gone. -
sportchamppsBTW if the browns do hire Josh Mcdaniels does Tim Tebow show up in Cleveland next year.
-
sportchamppsThey hired this coach who in less then a year they gave up on what makes you think they will get it right the second time around.

God, I hope not...if they get rid of everyone and put in a new system...I may actually cry....from my vaginaSportsAndLady;1558886 wrote:Agree with the scheming being difficult to keep changing. se-alumI don't think you can fire the head coach, then force the new coach to retain the coordinators, that's a recipe for disaster.
