With Hoyer as an insurance policy, I'd be surprised if they did.

I don't see any "can't misses" and I sure as Hell don't like Bridgewater. And if they select a QB high enough, that guy is most likely your starter in the second half of the 2014 season. Doubt he sits a full year.
What don't you like about Bridgewater? Who would you prefer?

Did you not see the "I'm not really sure who I like of this group" part of my post? I just don't like Bridgewater. I need to see him throw in tight windows and against a legit pass rush.

I'll do more research closer to the draft but, by then, I'll probably be LONG gone from here, assuming a Browns loss this week. :D

If you don't like Bridgewater, there's not a QB in the draft you will like. I see this QB draft being very deep with a lot of QB's that are very similar. If we could get one with our first pick in the 2nd round, and use our two firsts for playmakers, I'd be ok with that.

I'd have no issue with this either.

With that being said, not that I necessarily "like" him or "want" him but what are your thoughts on McCarron? I think he gets overshadowed by the fact that he plays on a NFL ready team.

I don't dislike McCarron, like a lot of people do. The guy is a winner, and has been in an NFL style offense for a long time. My biggest question with him is if he can throw the ball under pressure. He hasn't had to do much of that at 'Bama.

That's my beef with most of these guys. I got enamored with the "big armed ginger who gets trapped under flags" due to his big arm and college numbers but he never had a lot of pressure and he looks like total shit when pressured.

Truth be told, most of these guys have 6-8 seconds to throw and their WR's are running as wide open as a cow/horse in a pasture. It's pretty hard to guage who might be "can't miss." They are all so similar. Too bad Winston isn't coming out. Division could have a second Roethlisberger with his alleged discretions.

    just like McElroy... No thanks.

I want Teddy. I've watched Louisville as much as I could this year..He is pretty damn good. He had a so-so game against Kentucky if I'm not mistaken. BR- I know USF blows, but they have some studs on the d-line. I'd say Florida had a pretty good front 7 last year as well.

Bullshit. McCarron isn't a thing like McElroy. I could say the same about your "Teddy." Just like Geno Shit, I mean Smith.

Geno Smith hasn't looked great this year, but right now his team in the playoffs. I'd take him over anything the Browns have now.

I'd take him over Weeden, but that's it.

    In spite of him lol.

He's a rook though. I'm not going to get too critical of him.

he has led them to game winning drives in 4 out of 5 wins, though.

Pittsburgh just completely disrespected the Clowns defense and went for a long 4th & 1 (under review).

Doesn't matter what happens in the game or this season. Nothing changes the fact you are a old POS with no life.

Then the refs screwed the Steelers.

Yeah drafting guys from big time teams is tricky, that's why I knew when Roethlisberger was drafted he would be a beast, made Miami of freakin Ohio incredible. That is the thing I like about Manziel, he's taken A&M and made them a legit national power while they were basically an average Big 12 team before him. No reason Johnny Football wouldn't be good in the NFL

There are several reasons why he wouldn't be good in the NFL.

I'd loooove to see Manzier in Cleveburgh.
