2013 Cleveland Browns Thread: RIP Chud

TiernanHilarious - Kruger just favorably compared Weeden to Flacco - no wonder the Ravens unloaded him...he's retarded!

Flacco is a pig...a very locky pig. How much would they be paying that pig if the Denver safety did his job last year in the waning seconds of round 2? He owes that safety millions.Tiernan;1493339 wrote:Hilarious - Kruger just favorably compared Weeden to Flacco - no wonder the Ravens unloaded him...he's retarded! -
FootwedgeVegas has the Browns/Miami opener as a pick. Pick? Against Miami? At home?

Don't think very highly of my Dolphins huh?Footwedge;1493356 wrote:Vegas has the Browns/Miami opener as a pick. Pick? Against Miami? At home? -
Heretic
Flacco is a very average quarterback who has bursts of greatness, but is too inconsistent to build upon them, so I don't think a potential comparison between the two is all that hard to believe, depending on how Weeden progresses from last year.Tiernan;1493339 wrote:Hilarious - Kruger just favorably compared Weeden to Flacco - no wonder the Ravens unloaded him...he's retarded!
I mean, dude was clutch as hell in last year's postseason, but if you look at his career from a game-to-game basis, he's as likely to have a mediocre/poor outing as he is to have a good/great one. Just going off QB rating (not a great way to gauge a QB, but whatever) from last year, he had six games of above 100 and five games of under 70. -

So was the Broncos safety. I agree with your assessment though. He is not worth the money.Heretic;1493507 wrote:Flacco is a very average quarterback who has bursts of greatness, but is too inconsistent to build upon them, so I don't think a potential comparison between the two is all that hard to believe, depending on how Weeden progresses from last year.

Commander of AwesomeCouple of quick thoughts from last nights game, Sanford and Kitchen looked great, liked Hoyer as a back up QB, Nelson will prob be cut, Brandon Jackson sucks, Hoyer's INT was 70% gordon's fault.

lhslep134So this guy I know decently well, one of my classmate's boyfriend, is pretty knowledgeable about sports and last night he said he'd be shocked if the Browns don't win 8 games. He's anticipating huge improvement (he doesn't know I'm a Browns fan, we were just talking about football).
Thought that was kinda cool to get some respect from a random Cardinals fan. -

Yeah cards "fans" don't know shit though. -

He might not even be a Cardinals fan, I never asked. I just got the vibe from our fantasy football convo that he knew what he was talking about.like_that;1493571 wrote:Yeah cards "fans" don't know **** though.
It wasn't like some other people I know who say stuff like "I'm taking Russell Wilson in the 4th" -

Well they knew something following the 2008 season because they went to the SB. After that though they don't know anything bc they're not watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. /non fail theory.like_that;1493571 wrote:Yeah cards "fans" don't know shit though. -

The fact he defended it so long was pathetic. -
mucalum49Doesn't pertain to the 2013 Browns but I saw this link on twitter to a Cleveland Scene article titled "Mangini's Mess"

The only OL or DL that made the top ten. Pretty impressive.Commander of Awesome;1493599 wrote:http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9491439/2013-nfl-player-rankings-offense-10-1

Defense had their own top 100 players. But still impressive for him to be in the top 10.royal_k;1493608 wrote:The only OL or DL that made the top ten. Pretty impressive. -
Pick6Turns out the Browns can't find anybody to replace Dawson. Both kickers cut.

Maybe a deal with Dan Carpenter is in the works?Pick6;1494047 wrote:Turns out the Browns can't find anybody to replace Dawson. Both kickers cut. -
shook_17Kellen Davis cut today

iclfan2Browns have signed RB's bobby Rainey off waivers from the ravens, and Dennis Johnson from the Texans. Also C/G Patrick Lewis. Looks like Brandon Jackson might be getting cut. And JMJ got claimed by another team.

JMJ was cut..the hell?iclfan2;1494247 wrote:Browns have signed RB's bobby Rainey off waivers from the ravens, and Dennis Johnson from the Texans. Also C/G Patrick Lewis. Looks like Brandon Jackson might be getting cut. And JMJ got claimed by another team. -
iclfan2Kansas City picked him up, he may have been on practice squad. I don't think the new regime was very high on the guy. I just read up about Rainey, and he seems like a solid add. Most Balt fans seem to not agree with the move, and he can help in the return game. Guess he tore up the preseason

iclfan2Browns are going crazy on claiming people. LJ fort cut, Jackson officially cut.
-
Dr. KnOiTaLLI'm just excited to see how active they are being in producing a better product on the field. These guys are making moves to improve our football team which is more than previous regimes have done, so if they think a guy needed to be cut, I trust their judgement.
