STFU, nobody wants Shurmur to stay.

Or maybe these are the same fans who were soooo excited for the season to start before the season started

There were a couple of national analysts (NFL.com, ESPN, etc).

After that craptastic week 1 effort, if Gordon catches that TD, Weeden is back to a 1:1 ratio of TD's to INT's.

yeah. i wouldn't be surprised if haslam fires shurmur this week. there is reason that what happen today on the field should have happened. no excuse. jimmy please fire this fool. i wanted to him to have the year, but no more, no need. DUECES

Please. This place and many others were littered with talk about whether you keep Pat Shurmur if the Browns finish strong, even among some of the posters claiming to not know where this talk was coming from.

He did play pretty good today made some very good throws and then threw a couple bad. He really just needs to take care of the ball more

Are you really that fucking delusional? Please tell me one person who said we should keep shurmur.

God you are exhausting. Does it ever get old for you?

Hate Pat Shurmur bc he's a puss and punted on 4th and 1 after a time out when they had it on the 40. The big drop on Gordon is definitely on him though...I did like that call on 3rd and 1. Should have been 6 and took the lead. But Haslam looked pretty POd when they were punting on 4th and 1. And that's why Shurmur will be gone soon.

What I don't understand about that punt is....Shurmur has to know that he is being watched closely now...and you know your owner is a passionate guy, so don't you want to impress him. It is like he doesn't even give a shit that he is going to get shitcanned.

He doesnt get any credit for today?

Shurmur is up at the podium rambling and making excuses. I wish Haslam would bust in right now and tell him to walk back to Cleveland.

I dont know if he doesnt care or he's just an arrogant ass. Seriously, the dude comes across as a smug piece of shit. I'll be happy when he's off the sidelines

Smug is a very apt description. The way he talks about his offense you'd think he thinks he's Bill Walsh. Never seen someone who has accomplished less be as full of themselves as Shurmur is.

This. Barring injury, Weeden should be their QB for the next 5 years unless Banner is a total dipshit.

you do realize Haslem will hire another GM... Banner only has FINAL say on the players because he is in control of the salary cap. Final =/= most.

I am not going to search through the threads, but anyone who said they were even open to it with a strong finish was clearly just delusional from the win.

I didn't care if Shurmur won 11 in a row to end it, he needs to be fired because what we saw today is who he is and always will be.

Weeden is playing better it seems every week. What position do you consider is the largest need for the Browns?
