I agree wholeheartedly, but I have this to add--the NBA, on a strict night to night basis, is a superstar league. What I mean by that is that a superstar is capable of winning games his team has no business winning solely by himself. We saw it with Lebron, and I think we'll see it this year with Kyrie.SportsAndLady;1307534 wrote:By that I mean individually I don't think anyone will necessarily have a "bad" year, but together they just aren't talented or experienced enough to consistently win. Heading in the right path though.
The result of that is I feel like we'll win games we shouldn't and then we'll all get pissed off when we lose "growing pains" games that you're talking about, games we COULD win, but because of our youth we don't.
I'm just hoping to see improvement/flashes of potential from TT, Dion, and Zeller so that we know it's a core we can succeed with going forward. -
Pick6I really dont care how many games we win this year, as long as our young guys show potential. I know we still need a few more pieces, so my biggest concern is making a big move with all of our assets, whether it be a trade or moving up in the draft.

MulvaI'll go 33-49. Playing in the east will boost the win total some. I don't think this team is on course to be a contender anytime soon though.
The schedule in November is rough. If they make it through that with a respectable record they might be able to hang around and at least make the season interesting. Another top 5 pick is pretty desperately needed though. -
GOONx19I'm hyped for this season's tip-off. Here's hoping Waiters proves himself worthy of that pick. Regardless, it should be a fun year to watch.
-
KR1245Game 2 tonight vs the Bulls
Go Cavs! -
ohiobucks1Hope we lose just enough to be #1 in the lottery picking.
-
bases_loadedWould rather have Waiters and Zeller pan out and be a good team.
-
ohiobucks1Part of me agrees
Part of me thinks with 1 more superstar we would be amazing and I'm willing to wait -
Crimson streakWell the cavs suck tonight

After an air all by Walton then a foul and turnover by Walton, and he wasn't cut on the spot. I turned it. -
Mulva
It's disappointing to me that he's in the rotation ahead of Leuer.Midstate01;1310810 wrote:After an air all by Walton then a foul and turnover by Walton, and he wasn't cut on the spot. I turned it. -

Ironman92Luke Walton is a top 25 player in this league.
-
MulvaThat was just a straight awful performance.

He's #26. Just one ahead of harden. -
dazedconfusedwhen's the last time the bulls didn't beat the cavs by less than 20? seems like every game with them is a massive blowout. oh well, on to milwaukee
-
KR1245The Cavs werent ready for that defense, I'm interested to see how they look tonight. They could get off to a very slow start with their schedule, I think I heard last night that 11 of their next 15 games are on the road
-
Pick6Gee looked better last night.
-
RotinajSloan with some huge buckets late in 3rd and early 4th. Andy playing like a crazy man(good way)
-
MulvaCJ Miles has been absolute shit. Not fitting in with this team at all so far.
-
Pick6Gee looking solid tonight again.
-
RotinajKyrie is such a beast.
-
MulvaCavs going into chucker mode and falling apart.
-
Azubuike24Davis out, Hornets win in Chicago by 7. Only in the NBA...
-
MulvaHaha Bucks get absolutely fucked with 0.5 put on the shot clock somehow. Chance for some Kyrie magic.
