Also top PGs in the league, you have to include LBJ IMO.

People wanted to give up on Tristan last season and for 30% of this season....

Waiters has a lot of talent. I'm beginning to think he's more comfy coming off the bench like he did in college, which is ok as long as he produces like was when Byron was bringing him out as the 6th man.

Also, I think it's safe to say the Cavs may have gotten the two best players in the '11 draft class.

Def looking that way. I'd still like to see what Kanter could do with minutes, but at this point it's no contest.

Also Waiters IMO has been solid. He's inconsistent sure but has also hit the rookie wall at this point IMO. With Kyrie out he was solid. I think he's a good pick. I wanted Lamb, so far I've been wrong.

Only point guard better better or Cp3 and Derrick Rose

I don't think Rose is that good. Media hype.

Its really close to me as far as who is better. Maybe 2 A and 2 B

Waiters has shown great flashes of potential. There are some games where he has just went off. Consistency is his biggest problem right now. I also think him and Kyrie need to learn to play together better, which will take time. Seems one is on, and the other is off any about every game.

the man who put up 40 for the cavs doesnt turn 21 for another 2 months...crazy

also, tristan is growing on me. sure, half the time he looks more awkward than a baby giraffe out there but it does seem like his game is showing flashes of potential

flashes? Not going to take the time to look up the stats, but I would guess he is averaging around 14 and 11 for the past month.

edit: found it quick on ESPN. Averaging 14.1 and 11.9 for the month of January.

i was more referencing his improved post moves of late. he's always been a good rebounder and good at getting garbage points on tip-ins and such

Looking even more in depth, there are only 3 players averaging (Howard, Vucevic, Cousins) more points and rebounds than Thompson this month. Thompson has the highest average in points/rebounds in January for power forwards.

Lol Waiters averages 14.8 and 3 as a rookie. Not sure what people expect of him. He's a rookie, sure he's going to be a little inconsistent. Hell he just dropped 33 a little over a week ago.

I wonder if the early season Clippers game make people's expectations rise to the roof

I'm happy with all of our top picks recently (TT, Kyrie obviously, Dion, Zeller)...I'm just getting a bit concerned they aren't putting up more wins. It would be nice if they could finish this season strong and gain some confidence. I still want them to get a lottery pick this year, but at some point you can't keep losing like this.

It took 3 years of high draft picks for thunder to become great. Makes me feel better

I was watching a game a week or so ago. Cant recall exactly, was the Jazz or Kings game. Anyways, a very suprising stat was brought up. Dion, when coming off of the bench, puts up better numbers than ANYONE else who comes off the bench in the league. This includes Crawford and Smith. I believe the average was 18 something ppg and ~47% shooting.

Honest question-did OKC struggle like this when they were in those 3 rough years w/ KD?

I THINK. Also just, because the Cavs arent winning, I wouldnt say they are struggling. They are competitive in every game they play. I will elaborate more after class on why I think we are OK.

Yes, worst in the league first two years with KD and Russell Westbrook (agruably better talents than Waiters and Irving).

In KDs first 2 years they went 20-62 and 23-59. Year 3 they went 50-32. So yea they were horrible those first 2 years.
