2012 NBA Offseason

wildcats20It's not the deal I posted anymore. Pau will still be in LA. I'm not positive on the rest.
-
Trueblue23Dwight is a Laker... So is Pau.

Lakers gotta be the favorites heading into the year now.A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.
In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein. -
wildcats20Philly didn't do too bad IMO.
-
shook_17never really watched a lot of basketball in my life but im tired of these superstar players in the NBA thinking they can boss everybody around. small market teams like the cavs, timberwolves, and others will have a hard time competing
-
dazedconfusedi don't know if i'd feel numb at the terribleness of the trade as a magic fan right now or relieved that the dwightmare is finally over

In the west maybe.Mulva;1243637 wrote:Lakers gotta be the favorites heading into the year now.
I'm not a big Howard fan though, so I really don't think too much of this move for LA. -

wildcats20Bynum is saying he will re-sign in Philly.
-
Trueblue23This is crazy. Philly is not a good place for Bynum if he plans on not showing up 40 times a year.

Giving ET the controller it seems. If he can step it up and Bynum comes to play they can be pretty good. Not a top 3-4 team in the East but a solid playoff team. -

This for me too.SportsAndLady;1243642 wrote:In the west maybe.

It's like team's just cave to LAwildcats20;1243666 wrote:And now I am seeing J Rich to LA also. Wow.
If I were a GM, and LA called me, I'd say, "fuck off" and hang up the phone every time. -
wildcats20Forget that post. The guy who tweeted it misunderstood another tweet.
-
Midstate01I don't wanna hear anymore complaining about not getting cp3. Because LA gets more lopsided trades then anyone!
-
sportswizuhrdwildcats and Trueblue....In your opinions, will the Lakers still make the change to a Princeton style offense that they had said they were going to about 10 days ago?
-
Azubuike24I have to say that as a Sixers fan, I'm not too unhappy.
-
like_thatLMFAO what a joke. The NBA becomes a bigger joke. You have players QQ until they get to play for the team they want, then of course the Lakers get another gift wrapped trade. This is supposed to be good for the game? LMAO, can't wait for jordo to explain why he loves this!
The owners should have taken a stand during the lockout. Instead they pussed out, and made a "we will just deal with this later" type of deal. -
KR1245What the hell is Orlando doing? What a joke

Why don't the T-Wolves ever fuck someone in a trade? Or the Cavs? Or the Pistons?
It's always the Lakers or other big market teams. (but really just the Lakers actually).
Sweet league, Stern! -

But hey this is what people want to see, and it is great for the league! /jordo
Honestly, if it wasn't for the Cavs, I would probably be done with the NBA. I remember a time where people said Stern was the smartest and best comish of all the pro sports. What a joke that is now. -

Nothing says "championship core" like vucevic and harkless.KR1245;1243766 wrote:What the hell is Orlando doing? What a joke -

Dont forget the protected picks from the Lakers, Nugs and Sixers. Those picks arent going to be worth a damn thing. I dont think I have seen a team get less for a superstar playerMulva;1243844 wrote:Nothing says "championship core" like vucevic and harkless. -
Pick6Havent read through the responses because I'm on my phone..but surely I'm not the only one who thinks Orlando got bent over am I?
