NFL Combine

    Dan Synder is the worst.
  • SportsAndLady
General rule of thumb should be if you're even thinking about doing something that Dan Snyder is also thinking about doing, just don't do it. Matter of fact, do something in the opposite spectrum.

What really surprised me is that Andrew Luck ran a 4.59, I figured he'd be in the 4.7-4.8 range. Even more head turning was Oregon QB Darron Thomas's 4.78. I thought he'd go no higher than 4.5
  • iclfan2
Wright ran a 4.45. A little slower than expected.

Game speed is better. In the game he was blazing fast. Sort of like Julio Jones/AJ Green last year. Jones ran a really surprising 40 time. In the game though AJ Green definitely plays faster.

I think he'll be better than Blackmon but I also think he will be a Philadelphia Eagle with Philly walking away from D-Jax.

Exactly the situation with Blackmon. Everyone is worried that we will draft Blackmon instead of a qb, so they are ripping apart blackmon to justify throwing away additional picks on RG3. I am to the point where I am fine with drafting RG3 with giving up the other first rounder...and maybe a 4th(although it is still ridiculous), but blackmon is a stud...plain and simple. He is going to be very good, for a very long time.
  • SportsAndLady
Yes please on Blackmon at #4!!!
  • BR1986FB
Again...WHO is going to get Blackmon the ball?

Colt McCoy is a QB, so Colt McCoy
  • SportsAndLady
DeVier Posey ran a 4.37 (unofficial)
  • BR1986FB
Prepare to be disappointed (about McCoy)...

Well if that's the case, we take a QB in 2013 draft. What's one more year when you've had 50+ of awful?

Then, when we tkae our QB in 2013, we'll actually have...ready for this Browns fans? Ready for this? An actual #1 WR. So we don't have to throw our first round QB out there with fucking Mohammed Massaquoi and whoever the fuck else we have on this team at WR.

    I know, I know..mind blown.
  • BR1986FB
H & H aren't going to wait until year 4 of their 5 year stint to get a QB. It will happen THIS year. Keep wishing & hoping that McCoy is the QB this year....

awesome. I still think he got royally fucked by the NCAA, so I hope someone drafts him fairly high.

As i was saying, it's not worth it to offer such a deal to move up 2 spots
It's not about the 2 spots, it about the ability to get a franchise QB for the next decade.

If the Browns brass decide RGIII is that guy, will we really care about an extra second or 3rd round pick we gave up a decade from now because we finally filled the hole at the position?

You aren't trading all that to move up 2 picks, you are trading all that to plug a hole that has existed for 13 years while creating a buzz among the fan base that we haven't seen since the team came back.

I trust Heckert more than any talent evaluator we've had. If he decides he's the guy, then they can give up whatever and I will be perfectly happy about it because he wouldn't be giving up alot if he wasn't sure. If he pulls the trigger it means he's sure, and that's enough for me.

Yep. Constantly hear Giants fans bitching & moaning about what they gave up to get that scrub Eli Manning.

Stephen Hill made himself some money today.

    6'4, 215 lbs, and ran a 4.30.

I'd take Devier Posey depending on where he falls to. He's got good speed, size, and made TP look better than he was (maybe he can do that with Colt?)

I'm not an Ohio state fan at all but I would love to take posey in the 3rd round. Or maybe 4th depending on where he falls. I think he's going to be a damn good nfl receiver. Also Floyd running a 4.4 really surprised me. I never knew he was that fast

agreed. TP never hit anyone in stride. Posey just passes the "eye test" of a NFL receiver.

It's unfortunate people take so much stock in combine numbers. I'll take game film 7 days a week over combine performance. Kendall Wright was one of the fastest receivers on film (as COA said), and yet didn't run one of the fastest combine numbers. Who gives a sh*t.

St. Louis is laughing their asses off as RGIII continues to impress. StL is going to get some nice pieces to surround Indian Jesus

Floyds a beast, that's why I'm praying he falls to 22.
