Jones missed his 5th HR by inches over the foul pole.

Fewest AB per HR for any player over 100 AB

    1. Josh Hamilton 1/11.08
    2. Andruw Jones 1/11.17

What happened to him? I knew he wasn't having a good year, but after yesterday, I looked at his stats and he has 10 losses and a 6.5 ERA. Amazing how he went from dominant to pure shit just like that.

RT @MLBSportsReport: Source close to #Braves says #Mets 3B David Wright is a possibility for next year but doubtful.

    I'd be ok with that

This will never happen. Wright grew up a Mets fan, loves New York, and Alderson already said he will lock him up long term.

No Dunn in the ASG in KC but the White Sox opened in KC and Dunn's first AB he hit it where few derby balls went.

    #391

Ben Revere just couldn't quite hold on to the easy play of the year.....climbed up RF wall (foul) hung there and reached into stands and ball fell just out of the palm of his glove.
  • Ironman92
Adam Dunn (who was not in the derby in KC) just hit a HR so far that the KC crowd cheered him.

It went dead CF over the 410 ft wall.....over the 15 foot high wall about 420 away....over the 30 foot wall that is about 435 feet away and hit the base of the wall (which is 30 feet high) about 450 feet away.

They called it 459....not too sure I agree

Add Seth Smith and Edwin Encarnacion to the monster HR list.

I guarantee Dunn's and Edwin's HR hit the boat in GABP

So is Janish's glove in the hole towards 3rd.

Lol....Alex Rios just missed a fastball down the middle and fouled it back...next pitch he just misses a hanging curve and screams "fucking bitch" into the mic.

Ben Sheets will make his first start in two years and Paul Janish will be the starting SS for Atlanta today. Could be good enough to beat the LOLMets.

Is Edwin Encarnacion an MVP threat? He is absolutely killing it for the Jays 25hr and 61rbi hitting 295. Nice to see former Reds doing well not in the National League.

Yes, because the Braves have been so much better than the LOLMets this season. At least if the Braves make the playoffs again, they can add to their string of postseason futility, which is always a hoot.

Not at all. Watching the Braves' failures in the playoffs is actually quite amusing. With the Mets' deficiencies the past 2 decades, that has comforted me.

I'm ok with the Braves post season problems because they occur in the playoffs and the Mets are watching from their couch.

And I am ok knowing that the Mets and Braves have the same number of world titles since '86, and that the Mets actually sell out their stadium when they make the playoffs.

Dunn hit another today. It's fun watching this guy.

    LOLMets right now

Why stop at 86? Convenient for your team? They have been a laughing stock outside of one year since then. Congrats on being amused while your team is golfing.

    Y u so mad?

BAB is gonna be real mad now. 6 run inning off Johan capped off by a 3 run homer from Freddie Freeman.
  • Ironman92
    Cespedes hit a Dunner today.
