    IMO, we need facts on why he won. I can't just be like "oh ok he must not have taken steroids".

    Per the JSOnline article, the case turned not on the results of the test, but the testing process itself. Braun did exhibit abnormally high testosterone levels, but won his appeal based on an argument that the process by which players are tested was/is flawed.

    Well, we'll be able to tell alot this year based on his numbers. He will be tested like crazy, so anything he maybe was taking won't be an option anymore.

    If there is a tangible drop off in his production, winning appeal or not people will know all they need to about his innocence.

    That's complete bullshit. If the system is flawed, ok. But he still failed. Unreal.

    Braun didn't argue evidence of tampering, didn't argue anything about science being wrong but argued protocol had not been followed. A second source confirmed to ESPN investigative reporter Mark Fainaru-Wada that Braun did not dispute the science but rather questioned chain of custody/collection procedure.
    According to one of the sources, the collector, after getting Braun's sample, was supposed to take the sample to FedEx/Kinkos for shipping but thought it was closed because it was late on a Saturday. As has occurred in some other instances, the collector took the sample home and kept it refrigerated. Policy states that the sample is supposed to get to FedEx as soon as possible.
    LOL, GTFO. Im sure the dude added some extra Testosterone while it was in his fridge.

    Not really. Plenty of MVP's have had a drop off in production after their MVP season. It will be even tougher for Braun to repeat his production without Fielder in the lineup.

    I'm sure that, with Fielder gone, Braun will be pitched to differently. I don't know how I feel about this. It would seem that, in light of all the doping that has gone on before, any player, much less a star, wouldn't risk a 50-game suspension and the stain which accompanies it throughout his career. Braun had never tested positive before, so I have a problem with the positive sample just showing up out of thin air.

    The fact that the results weren't disputed but the process was tells me that he got off on a technicality. It's kinda like a criminal getting off because he wasn't read his Miranda rights at the time of arrest.

    I guess the proof will be in the pudding or, in this case, in his numbers this year.

    If the reports are true Braun would have tested 3 times more testosterone levels than anyone thats ever been tested. Someone had to of messed with the sample cause that's just ridiculous

    That was the first thought I had when I saw that. I guess bench pressing doesn't necessarily help with hitting a ball, but still that's pretty sad.
