    That's sick.

It's a shame he went off his rocker, he could have been great.
  • Azubuike24
Better than any pitch he threw in his final 2 years...
  • Classyposter58
Verlander threw 131 pitches in a 3-2 win over the Royals

^ I don't understand the purpose of their comments.
Brantley entered Sunday with four hits in 20 at-bats and exited with seven hits in 26 at-bats.
Okay, he was three for six, what does that have to do with the Indians ranking?

I know. Was scratching my head over that one myself.

Ohioan (from football powerhouse Marion Local), and former Buckeye COry Luebke threw well again last night...7 IP and 1 ER. Had a rocky first start againt another Ohio kid, Chad Billingsley, and then in his second start walked in a run in the first inning and I think that is the only run he gave up that game. Last two games I think 2 ER in about 13 innings.

What the hell has gotten into Derek Jeter this season?

He has 4 homers so far, and is hitting .389 through 12 games.

He isn't far from his 38th birthday, so I am surprised to see him get off to such a hot start considering how poorly he has started recent seasons.

Normally by now the vultures are swirling talking about his replacements.

Cliff Lee and Matt Cain both throw 9 innings of shutout baseball. Lee is only at 89 pitches Cain left in the 9th with only 91 pitches.
  • Tiger2003
Cliff Lee throws 10 shutout innings and is going to get a ND. What a fucking shame.

LA Angels 4-8 51 runs scored

St Louis 9-3 70 runs scored

It's extremely early, but still interesting.

Bartolo Colon threw 38 strikes in a row. That is amazing. But whats more amazing is the next closest over last 25 years....TIM WAKEFIELD. Wake threw 30 in 1998.

Yah I saw that on MLB Network. Would have never guessed Tim Wakefield and that knuckle ball.

Darvish on mlb network now. Should be a good game to watch, not minor league like the Reds and Tribe.
  • Laley23
    Grandyman watch.

Curtis has 3 HRs, in 3 ABs tonight. In the 4th inning. 3 more ABs, I would imagine. Maybe more if Yankees have a big inning somewhere along the lines.
  • Midstate01
Damn. He's doing work for my fantasy team tonight!!!

Ditto. Too bad Im playing Mike Fucking Napoli this week.
  • hoops23
Figures my opponent this week has Curtis Granderson. Went from up 9 to down 15 in 1 day so far.
  • Laley23
No HR, but a solid single. Still think he gets 1 more AB at least. Only bottom of the 6th. 1 out.

Yanks are the home team though, so possibly 3 ABs wont happen unless they blow the lead.

In about 15 minutes Felix Hernandez will take on the Tribe. Tune in (MLB Network, STO) to watch every pitch of a no hitter.

I love that they haven't traded the king. Gives me some hope.

Then, like the Indians, you remember who is in your division.

Texas is really fucking good. Of course the Tigers are just too loaded for the Indians this year.
