Ironman92Austin Jackson....Mike Trout
No.
Will Torii also be knocking in 100 runs? -
SonofanumpHunter might contribute, but to think that he will be a superstar or will live up to his contract is delusional, he signed with Detroit for one reason, his son is playing football at Notre Dame and the proximity is reasonable.

jordo212000Hunter is on the wrong side of 35, it would be a stretch to believe that he will have another season like last year. Unless you are juicing it isn't typical for your numbers to better at the end than they were at the beginning

Ironman92Blue Jays get R.A. Dickey
-
IggyPride00Blue Jays have Dickey locked in for the next 3 years at $30 million total including his new extension.
That is tremendous value, and justifies what they had to give up talent wise in the trade.
When you look at what starters are making on the open market recently, to get a guy who in the last 3 seasons as a starter (since he went to a knuckle ball full time) has posted ERA's of 2.84, 3.28 and 2.73 (while averaging 205 inning a season over that time) is a complete steal.
Comparatively over that time, Greinke (who just got $147 million over 6 years) has had ERA's of 4.17, 3.83 and 3.48 while averaging 200 innings.
Dickey is obviously much older, but knuckleballers traditionally can go into their mid to late 40's effectively.
It just puts into perspective that as far as results go, Toronto is getting a tremendous bang for the buck for a guy that for 3 years now has been putting up top of the staff kinds of numbers. -
BigAppleBuckeyeHUGE trade for the Mets, landing the Jays' two top prospects, including the #1 catching prospect in MLB! From Buster Olney:
Buster Olney, ESPN.com: “Talent evaluators who have heard Toronto Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos say no to possible deals for d’Arnaud in the past are stunned — completely shocked — that Toronto has said yes to a to a proposed trade for Dickey. There’s even more to this deal than d’Arnaud: Noah Snydergaard, regarded as the Jays’ best pitching prospect by some teams, would be the cherry on top of this trade for the Mets, if it goes through. … “He’s out of his mind,” said another. -
killer_ewokPirates sign Francisco Liriano. Could really solidify the staff if J-Mac doesn't turn to dogshit again after the AS break.
