I'm assuming you've read Lane's updates in the "rumors" section on the OBR? Good stuff.Commander of Awesome;1313987 wrote:Smh, terrible lose on Sunday. -

No I haven't been traveling, got home late and straight in this morning. I'll check it out this evening.BR1986FB;1314045 wrote:I'm assuming you've read Lane's updates in the "rumors" section on the OBR? Good stuff. -

I saw the post on that, but am not a member and can't read it.BR1986FB;1314045 wrote:I'm assuming you've read Lane's updates in the "rumors" section on the OBR? Good stuff.
ANything good or noteworthy? -

Is he for real? He might have played like shit Sunday, but if he is not aggressive it is because of Shurmur. The guy came into the league with the rep of being a gunslinger. His aggressiveness is not the problem.Marla Ridenour ‏ @ MRidenourABJ # Browns Shurmur on Weeden: "You can't take a guy who's not aggressive & make him aggressive." -

Biggest thing that jumped out was that the Browns were easily tipping their hands on what they'd run just by their personnel groups. Said Ravens shut down 6 of 7 plays just due to knowing what was coming ahead of time.IggyPride00;1314138 wrote:I saw the post on that, but am not a member and can't read it.

Had some things about Weeden, Cowher, Gruden, Holmgren (they haven't asked him to coach), etc. And, supposedly, NO interest in Mike Lombardi. -

Yeah, just because Shurmur's a pussy, he doesn't need to think that everyone else is a sackless wonder. If anything, I'd think Weeden was TOO aggressive and they'd have to reign him in.IggyPride00;1314143 wrote:Is he for real? IggyPride00Browns voted worst organization in Sporting News midseason players poll

Haslam needs to make a statement (sooner than later) that there is going to be some accountability from now on and the incompetence will no longer be tolerated.
He should have fired Shurmur yesterday and put everyone else on notice.
Having a head coach know he is gone creates a toxic environment that is not helpful to a young team heading into next year.
I know what Haslam said about waiting until after the year, but sometimes circumstances change and you have to adapt. Shurmur is already starting to throw players under the boss to try and cover his ass, and it is just not a good environment for anyone. -

I was fine with it looking like he won't be fired until the end of the year but if he's gonna be a bitch he needs to gtfo now. -
FootwedgeNot happy at all with Weedon's 4th quarters this year. Pathetic really.

What if the Cleveland Browns front office picked our president? -

I think a better scenario would be if Shapiro and Antonetti got to pick our president. They would have have recycled some of the former presidents that are washed up and in a nursing home. And gave Grady whatever he wanted to be VP.like_that;1315007 wrote:What if the Cleveland Browns front office picked our president? -
WallyOne thing I noticed last week that I had not noticed before. Weeden shied asay from contact a few times. The one time he threw the ball like a girl, crumpled to the ground and turned his back to the hit….damn-that looked bad…..

I think the outcome would have been the same. They would have picked up obama's option and banked on him getting back to 2007 form. Lightning in a bottle.wes_mantooth;1315009 wrote:I think a better scenario would be if Shapiro and Antonetti got to pick our president. You think that's bad, do you remember on JJ when no one could spell Charlie Weis' last name (even easier to spell) right when he was still at ND?like_that;1314359 wrote:How fucking hard is it to spell his name correctly? -

lol, I stayed away from the college fball forum on JJ. Footwedge's spellings of pro athletes is comical. He referred to Wade as Duane Wade. LOL.ts1227;1315487 wrote:You think that's bad, do you remember on JJ when no one could spell Charlie Weis' last name (even easier to spell) right when he was still at ND? -

You should also do yourself a big favor and stay off the political boards as well. Your one trick pony at this site is right here on the Browns thread. Your life...bash the Browns....and bash Jordo.like_that;1315565 wrote:lol, I stayed away from the college fball forum on JJ. Footwedge's spellings of pro athletes is comical. Take a walk, mow the grass, smell some coffee, take in a movie, read a book. Life offers much more. That way, you won't remember an anonymous guy mispelling a name on a fukkin internet board 2 years ago. -
