Yds/attempt is a lot more important than yardage. When you attempt 50+ passes I would hope you would throw for 300 yards. His "clutch rated" numbers are miserable. He hasn't been completely awful since the first game, but there is nothing "amazing" about his play, regardless of how many starts he's had. -

They could get that 2nd rounder back they burned on Gordon, and more.

If Weeden continues to improve id do it in a heartbeat as long as we stay in the top 6 or so. Makes me sad to even think about the hiring. I remember at the time hearing rumors that John Fox would be the guy because of the Bob Lamonte connection to Holmgren. On CBS yesterday they handed Shannon Sharpe a Browns schedule and asked him where the win was going to come, and he said this team has 1-15, 2-14 written all over it. Bill Cowher jumped in and defended the Browns saying he thinks they will find 3-4 wins.
Either way, who would have guess when Homgren came to town the win total would decrease from 5 to 4 to less than 3 in his 3 years here. Hell of a rebuild I tell you. -
