Could be Andy and some fillers like Boobie or Harangody because of their cheap expiring contracts.

Yeah. His Uncle Drew was a real baller... Sigh... 30 years too soon.

Summer League title > everything else.

    Exactly.

I typically lose interest in NBA basketball after the summer ends anyhow

Brooklyn currently has 5 players (D-Will, Brooks, Wallace, Johnson and Tyshawn Taylor on their roster) and 3 of those players aren't getting dealt.

I won't believe anything about anything until Chris Broussard tells me so.

    The Bill Walton Trip

Magic, Nets, and Cavaliers have the Dwight Howard trade all but finalized. This riveting deal will include 11 players, cash, and multiple draft picks. Stay tuned and THROW IT DOWN!

This is the same guy who broke the Steve Nash trade well before ESPN.

A lot of sources seem to think the Cavs will be getting Humphries who will agree to a 1 year deal. The Cavs also receive Marshon Brooks (nice piece) and a couple of draft picks, including a 1st rounder..
  • Midstate01
I love that move! Brooks has a ton of talent.
  • OneBuckeye
Brooks has potential to be a scorer. We need to find points somewhere, and is early in his nba development. It would be great to get him and draftpicks. Just wondering what the cavs would be giving up.
  • Wooball
I'd take Brooks, just would be surprised if he ends up in Cleveland if this deal is finalized. Saw this posted over on RCF, check out Irving in this highlight. His handles are GROSS!

Really hoping we netted another 1st rounder.

Interesting read from Reghi regarding Kyrie and the Cavs perceived lack of urgency. Reghi does have some valid points...

As long as we don't give up Varejao, TT, KI, TZ or Waiters, I'm okay with anyone else leaving the team. I'm also okay with getting Marshon, but I hope we are netting a 1st rounder out of this deal.

To clarify, I'm okay with giving up Varejao, but not for Brooks. I think we can shop Varejao to another team for another 1st sometime this year. The Nets and Magic need to remember that we are helping them do this trade, so I hope we are paid off handsomely.

I also want to add, things are looking up for the Cavs. We've got a nice young core and because we'll likely suck next year and accumulate another 1st rounder or two, we will have a vast amount of talent built early enough to win multiple championships. Irving is the real deal, TT is a nice piece at the 4, and Waiters can flat out score the ball. Zeller will be a serviceable center; we just need to draft a strong wing(a 3 or SF) and we'll be set for the next 8 years.

Our bench is still trash though lol.
