No reason to. We don't want to have a bigger contract on a guy that is 32 and on the decline. We're not title contenders so there's no point

Agreed. He's actually going to be a solid player, IMO. One who can legitimately contribute on a good team. He's got good size, can stretch the floor, has good handles for his size, and has good speed and an array of post moves. Cavs FL has gotten much more athletic.

He had some nice games as a rookie for the Bucks and had an excellent FG% and PER when adjusted to to 36 MPG. I have no idea why the Bucks stopped playing him.

Scott Skiles is a dumbass. He screwed around with their lineup all year.

Cavs meeting with cj miles. He was one of the 3 or 4 fa's I mentioned hoping we would go after a few months back. Inconsistent, but would be a definite upgrade at sf in my opinion.

Do you think it's either CJ Miles or Gee? They are both the same age, essentially the same size and put up the same stats. Gee has had a slightly better FG % than Miles. Outside of having Miles for depth I don't see why we abandon our own RFA for the same player unless he is going to play for the minimum.

Heading into just his second season, Tristan Thompson is already thinking about a leadership role on the Cavaliers.
“I think I need to take a bigger leadership role,” Thompson said Tuesday while in Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League. “(With) Kyrie and myself coming in here we’ve got a lot of young guys so we’re almost like the veterans.
“We’ve got to come in here and show them the ropes, show them right from wrong, really build chemistry.”
Thompson plans to stay in Cleveland this summer to work with teammates and the Cavaliers coaching staff.

I think gee wants way more money than he's worth and should realize that there's a reason nobody is throwing money at him.

But yeah, it probably is one or the other.

La now trying to resign Bynum

Pretty much dead, as the Magic, GASP, aren't happy with the return they've been offered. Pretty hard when the twat refuses to resign anywhere. Not sure why in the fuck he resigned in the first place, also why he wants out of of Orlando so bad. They're a good team, or least were a good team before he started QQing and forced them to get rid of the players that fit their system. Hell had Howard been on board they'd probably be playing for #2 seed in the East. Sorry QQ boy, titles aren't handed to you. What a fucking dipshit. Literally learned nothing from LeBitch and Melo's debacles.

They were being offered a shitty return. Holding out is exactly what they should be doing.

Also, anyone see this quote from Antawn?
Said Jamison: “It’s been a while since I’ve had some open shots. … It’s been a long time waiting.”
When you shoot every time you touch the ball you're going to be covered for a lot of them.

    Jamison can gfh.
  • wes_mantooth
    Lol...Jamison

He is so terrible you just have to laugh at that
  • wes_mantooth
Good for all teams that it is dead. Howard is so overrated....and I didn't want bynum

I'm not gonna lie I would have loved to have had bynum. I still hope we do get him
  • wildcats20
And now I'm seeing that Howard is open to an immediate trade to LA.
