I don't think so. The season isn't even close to starting yet. They have time to wait for an offer they like more.derek bomar;1229175 wrote:aren't they kinda desperate now? I mean, Dwight isn't resigning with them, so they need to trade em. People know they need to trade, thus aren't giving them FMV for someone of his caliber... it's like a firesale. Everything Howard must go, and they're trying to get what they can. -

Problem is Howard isnt going to just sign a long term deal with any team.Mulva;1229375 wrote:I don't think so. The season isn't even close to starting yet. They have time to wait for an offer they like more. -
Crimson streakAccording to woj the cavs and lakers are waiting for the magic to agree on the framework of the deal so the lakers can start talking to Howard and the cavs with Bynum about extensions. It seems like grant could be willing to take Bynum even with out a extension. It should get interesting very fast if the magic agree on the framework

Commander of AwesomeI'm already very interested.

I do not think Bynum signs an extension no matter what. Think I read he would be missing out on a lot of money if he didnt just sign a max deal next season. No way that the Cavs take him without him promising to resign or whatever.Crimson streak;1229445 wrote:According to woj the cavs and lakers are waiting for the magic to agree on the framework of the deal so the lakers can start talking to Howard and the cavs with Bynum about extensions. swooshIf talks are resuming, it means Bynum agrees to re-sign with us. The only way this deal goes through is if he agrees to us ahead of time that he would re-up with us in 2013.

Me too ive been on Rcf all day. Amico would get my hopes up the Lloyd would crush em and then when you think it's not going to happen woj comes out of no where and posts that lol -
hoops23If he's traded to us, we would own his bird rights. He would be the 2nd best player on the team with a young nucleus. No way he's turning down that opportunity and all that money to go sign somewhere else... Not very many teams have much cap space as it is... In fact, the Cavs are the only team in the East with ANY cap space this season. I'd have to check the west.

Some of us on RCF think Lloyd is the Cavs right hand man in terms of quieting talk down. Amico flies with everything, but usually says if he thinks it's true or not.Crimson streak;1229477 wrote:Me too ive been on Rcf all day. What Amico does...is what Broussard famous back in the decision days. Throw a bunch of shit against the wall and hope something sticks. But if you are the first to report it....you are famous.hoops23;1229483 wrote:Some of us on RCF think Lloyd is the Cavs right hand man in terms of quieting talk down. Amico was acting a bit weird a couple weeks ago. He kept referencing "agents" and "sources" and everybody knew he was throwing shit against the wall. He was basically complaining about the Cavs, but using "other people" to express his feelings. -

Really not an issue. That's why they've gotten/will continue to get a 3rd team involved. Get him to LA and get your package of prospects/picks elsewhere. Cavs aren't the only option for that, and Lloyd reported today that they're currently unwilling to give up any young players.SportsAndLady;1229442 wrote:Problem is Howard isnt going to just sign a long term deal with any team.
A lot more pressure on the Cavs to bend on that than Orlando imo. Depends how badly they want Bynum. -

Amico is a jackass. He posted a tweet today from a fake Chris Broussard twitter account.wes_mantooth;1229486 wrote:What Amico does...is what Broussard famous back in the decision days. I was for some reason listening to the big show and Riz and Hammer were acting all excited about breaking the news about Bynum... They went to commercial break and came back on and Riz sounded let down... Then he said they were fooled by a fake twitter account lol.KR1245;1229521 wrote:Amico is a jackass. Not sure why laker fans want this trade....marginal upgrade at best. Howard is the most overhyped player in the league. -

Because Bynum is a joke. He will never get his head on straight. At least Howard will bust his ass with Kobe and Pau leading him. -
wildcats20And he brings a defensive force that hasn't been in LA in years.

Commander of Awesome[h=3]Cavaliers Seek Extension From Andrew Bynum Before Agreeing To Trade[/h] Jul 19, 2012 7:42 PM EDT The Cavaliers are eager to acquire Andrew Bynum in a three-way trade with the Lakers and Magic involving Dwight Howard, but they are not prepared to move forward without an assurance from Bynum.
"Cleveland will only do the deal if Bynum extends," a league official directly involved in the talks told Yahoo! Sports.
The Lakers want the framework of a trade to be agreed upon before the Cavaliers begin engaging Bynum on an extension.
