Bengals trade Carson Palmer to the Raiders for a 1st rounder...

Never said anything like that all, nice try though. So 1 game defines how the trade is going to turn out?Heretic;943489 wrote:He's just an example of a troll who sucks at what he does. He tries trolling Cincy fans, so he used the "now that Carson's out of there, his career will be rejuvenated and he'll kick ass" card. And then looks like an idiot (like usual) when Carson throws three picks in a game he didn't even start. Good job, Oakland, you traded a couple good picks to get Kyle Boller's older twin!!! -

rightfieldYou get what you saw on Sunday. A weak armed , pick throwing machine. He has looked like this for several years. No surprise for any Bengal fan here.

charliehustle14As a Raiders fan, I'm just sick to my stomach about this all.
The Raiders have quietly been building a winner through the draft and low-risk high-reward signings. And then we lose Campbell and give up our next 2 drafts to land Palmer. Campbell wasn't great, but he was the type of QB Oakland needed. A guy who takes care of the ball most of the time and can really stretch the field vertically. And just like that, he's played his last game as a Raider.
I know Palmer wasn't even supposed to play vs KC and he surely won't have that terrible of a game again, but he's still very average. He's not going to lead Oakland to a West title. At this point, 8-8 or 9-7 at best. I'd rather have played Pryor and took our beatings. Or pulled Orton from Denver. Oakland simply panicked and gave up way too much for a broken down average QB who lives off his reputation of being a Heisman winner, #1 overall pick, and once elite NFL QB.
Just a nightmare for me. -
stroupsAs a Bengals fan I feel the exact opposite.

thavoiceOne INT I would blame the WR as he should have caught it.
A second INT it looked like the CP anticipated the WR continuing on his route. Whether it was the wrong route by the WR, or CP messed up what route it should have been, or just a WR and QB reading two diff things..it could be any of that.
Those types of things are going to happen when a guy has very few practices to work on things.
The pick six was entirely on him no doubt.
Most said it was a bad trade for the picks when it happened, and I agree with that. One game does not make or break this trade
