You do realize they have 3 fairly high compensation picks coming right?

The highest it can be is a 3rd rounder (essentially 4th rounder, since it is end of the round) right? Nnamdi I can see as a 3rd rounder. Gallery is like a 4th/5th and I wouldnt be surprised if Miller was 7th or nothing.

    How many are first rounders?

Agreed, Boller's limitations revolve around his accuracy, or lack thereof, the guy can still throw the football. Palmer has looked like absolute crap the past couple of seasons throwing as many ducks as he has NFL-QB passes. If for some reason he magically turned back into an NFL QB while not practicing great for the Raiders.

As bad as Palmer had been, he was still better than Boller

So are a lot of people. Raiders could have gotten Kyle Orton for much cheaper. You're logic is flawed.

Still can't believe this gift feel in MB's lap. It will be interesting to see if it brings any extra spark to a team already on a roll. Who Dey!

(Palmer > Boller) Seems like sound logic to me. What is illogical to me is trading within your division to make the team you are trading with better the week before you play them.

No his logic was that since Palmer is better than Boller it was a good trade. Try and keep up.

Also I guess you're referring to Kyle Orton. Considering that the Broncos have only won 1 game and tried to trade Orton before the season and then just benched him, it would be idiotic for them to let him rot on the bench when they could get something of value for a guy they don't want on their team. Broncos aren't in the playoff chase and Kyle Orton isn't exactly Rodgers.

Palmer wasn't great by anymeans his last 2 seasons in Cincy but he was far from "absolute crap" he completed 62% of his passes, had a 4000yd season last year and had 46 TD passes with 33 Int's the last 2 years combined hardly "absolute crap" stats.

    You referred to this statement:

He is saying that Palmer > Orton which is a true statement.

You are also making the assumption the Raiders would want Orton and see value in him.

I am sorry if I can't keep up with your intellect.

No that's an opinion. One which I disagree with. I would take Orton over Palmer.

So is skyhook Carson Palmer's dad or something?

Carson Palmer already with a pick 6 lol.

Apparently the Raiders failed to watch Carson Palmer the last year or 2 in Cinci. Same ol Carson...throwing touchdowns to guys on the other team.

I'm rooting for the Raiders to lose every game. It would be hilarious if their first round pick this year ends up being a top 10 pick.

hey bgfalcons, what happened there? Come on here talking shit and the browns won and the raiders got blanked.

That INT looked eerily familiar to a lot of his picks from last season. The Raiders should have used that to their benefit in the negotiations. The Bengals shed Palmer, Ocho, and TO and replace them with rookies and young guys and improve dramatically. On that pick 6, his arm strength looked like it had vanished. He probably needs to knock the rust off a little bit though

Perhaps. I admit I didn't watch all of Cincy's games the last couple of years, but I saw enough to know that Palmer is done as far as being a top NFL QB. I'm not sure he's even serviceable. Some of his INT's the last 2 years were mindblowing.

Picking up right where he left off. He has to be up there on the list of thrown pick 6's.

My Favorite Carson moment was when his leg got hit and he acted like he was hurt. Carson is a p***y. He's afraid to get hit and wont stand in the pocket. He has happy feet which is killing his footwork and his arm is weak b/c he needs surgury but is afraid to get it done.

    Palmer for MVP.

He's just an example of a troll who sucks at what he does. He tries trolling Cincy fans, so he used the "now that Carson's out of there, his career will be rejuvenated and he'll kick ass" card. And then looks like an idiot (like usual) when Carson throws three picks in a game he didn't even start. Good job, Oakland, you traded a couple good picks to get Kyle Boller's older twin!!!

That might mean something if it were not for the fact, that same raiders team kicked the Browns butt the week before.
