Fukudome

WooballTribe in serious talks for Fukudome.
-
Commander of Awesomesmh
-
royal_kHe better come cheap.
-
bases_loadedHe's an upgrade
-
like_thatThis will definitely solve the Tribe's problems. Cant wait to see how they get trade raped in this deal /sarcasm.

Commander of Awesome270 BA, 13 RBI, 3 HR, played in 87 games. Why the hell are we trading for him?
-
bases_loadedThat .270 average puts him top 3 with us. I'm guessing they get him cheap and its to address the fact they only have 4 outfielders on roster

Those are better stat than the people making up the bottom half of the lineup right now.Commander of Awesome;844230 wrote:270 BA, 13 RBI, 3 HR, played in 87 games. Why the hell are we trading for him? -
WooballBuster Olney tweeted that talks are on the 1 yard line. His #'s this year:
.273BA/.374 OBP/.743OPS
3 HR/33runs/13RBI
Will he hit in the 2 spot? -
WooballPeople bash on the Indians front office, including me. But, I feel like they wouldn't be pulling the trigger on this move if there isn't another move to go along w/ this one. Unless they think they can tread water until Choo comes back in a few weeks.
-
dazedconfused.243 avg/.698 ops since may 8th...yep, he'll fit right in
-
Commander of AwesomeTradign for Fukudome is a complete joke. Its honestly comical. SMH, 13 RBIs in 87 fucking games?
-
royal_kThey need someone to drive in runs....he doesn't fit. Unless there is another move in the works.

Agree. They don't make this move if they aren't planning on being buyers and making another deal or two. -
KR1245I'm ok with it, better than watching Kearns

There aren't enough moves available to make this a World Series team this year. IMHOWooball;844240 wrote:People bash on the Indians front office, including me. What if we trade White for him? Then you ok with it? -
WooballI just want to go sit in right field and start the "Fuck You Do Me" chant

Not with the fucking cheap ass dolans as the owners. -
like_thatIts a complete joke. Honestly at this point it is not even worth making a trade. This team is now in the "red" when it comes to run differential, and they are only 2 games over .500. After their series with the royals, they have 4 games with the redsox, 3 with the rangers, and 3 with the tigers back-to-back-to-back. If they dont fuck up with the royals (good chance they will) those 10 games will bury them. There is no point in trading away any future pieces for fucking Fukudome.

Who could they spend money on? They already offered to pick up Beltran's contract. -

I agree. I thought this to be the case even at the All Star break.like_that;844256 wrote:Its a complete joke. Honestly at this point it is not even worth making a trade. I would hope that the FO would be smarter than that. If we didnt give up too much for him than I think its a decent move -
Laley23No thanks. But at the same time, if he is for a PTBNL or A player than why the fuck not? Certainly better than Kearns, Buck, or Duncan. Not a huge upgrade, but an upgrade.
I also feel they will be making another, much bigger move, to compliment this.
The real question is, why now and not 10 days ago?
ALSO, another LH bat? Jesus. We have like 3498267785 LH hitters and 2943857475826 RH pitchers.
