I saw that. Thats a pretty small sampling of what he said. He said I want Cesc and we will try to the very last day to sign him, but he understands the financial part even though we have enough for both. Also said that thinks the more important position is F and that they were given a list of 5 players and he wanted Sanchez the most.

Last I read (this morning, so way old in transfer talk lol) he was staying at Santos. Which in turn was going to give Barca a HUGE leg up in signing him in January. We shall see.

Yeah, but he is like 12. I could easily see him ending up a World Class talent.

He needs to be let loose and see what he can do on the club level. Have you ever checked out some of his highlights?

    Todays soccer rumblings and rumors:

According to NOS Sports the American striker will sign a four-year contract with the team that won the Dutch Eredivisie in 1981 and more recently in 2009.

    Aguero done deal?

The Daily Mail speaks about Sergio Aguero's move from Atletico Madrid to Manchester City as if it was a done deal.

It coincides with the rumors making the rounds in Aguero's native Argentina since Sunday and it now appears this transfer could happen even if Carlos Tevez fails to secure a move away from the City of Manchester Stadium.

Aguero has been adamant in that he won't be back with Atletico Madrid, but he probably expected Real Madrid to make a move for him. Now that he is running out of options, he could end up at Manchester City to continue with his career. If he adapts quick enough to life in England and to the different style of soccer played in the Premier League, Aguero has all the skills to become a true star there.

    HUGE London Rumor

In what could be a spectacular move, Arsenal could bring Franck Ribery from Bayern Munich as reported by Footy Bunker.

With some players already leaving and some heavily rumored to be on their way, Arsenal must keep signing quality options to join forward Gervinho on the arrivals list.

The French connection at Arsenal has been strong for many years now and in theory it all makes sense. Will a potential Ribery signing be tied to whether Arsenal sells Cesc Fabregas or Samir Nasri or both?

    More Man City/Tevez Drama

    Part A:

UPDATE: A return of hero Carlos Tevez to Corinthians will have to wait for fans of the Brazilian club.

Corinthians announced through a statement on the club's official website that it won't be possible to meet Manchester City's demands and the proposed payment methods in time before the transfer window closes in Brazil tonight at 23:59 local time.

It remains to be seen whether a loan deal is possible or if Tevez has other suitors that would be willing to spend the $80 million Manchester City is asking for the Argentine striker.

    Part B:

Inter may provide a solution for Carlos Tevez and Manchester City by offering a swap deal for the Argentine striker sending Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder the other way, according to Metro.co.uk.

After a move to Corinthians crashed, Tevez doesn't have a lot of options open but he insisted he will not play for City anymore due to family reasons.

Inter, located in Milan in the North of Italy could provide Tevez with an environment that will be a lot closer to that of Buenos Aires in his native Argentina. A culture him and his family will could adapt to a lot better than in England.

It all depends on whether Inter means business or not. Real Madrid sounded like another possible destination for Tevez, though no offer from Jose Mourinho's club has been made.

Where is Melo going to end up?

Brazil international midfielder Felipe Melo has indicated he will leave Juventus but he won't be going back to his home country despite attracting some interest from clubs there.

"I was thinking of a move to Sao Paulo and I even chose the neighborhood I was going to live in, but a new offer came from a European club which would highly increase my salary and now we are just working on the details of that deal", Felipe Melo is quoted by Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

Not a player Juventus will miss a lot given his explosive temper and though the club where he is going has not been revealed, it's one that is surely looking for a midfield enforcer and on his day, he could be one of the best around.

    Last Rumor

    Possible HUGE MLS signing

UPDATE: Vancouver Whitecaps co-owner Jeff Mallett tells Canada's Globe and Mail that the MLS expansion team wants to sign former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves.

"He knows of our interest," Mallett told the paper's David Ebner, marking the first time the Whitecaps have admitted to pursuing Hargreaves. "He's a great player. He's a Calgary boy, has connections with the club. We'll stay in contact.?

    --

The Vancouver Whitecaps will make what the club is calling "a major player announcement" Tuesday.

Could that mystery player be Canadian-born star Owen Hargreaves?

According to Canada's TSN, the the injury plagued 30-year-old has been working out in the Vancouver area since United released him in May. On Monday, the BBC reported that West Brom was the one of several potential suitors.

Hargreaves, whose parents are British, started for UEFA Champions League-winning teams with Bayern Munich 2001 and United in '08. He represented England at the 2002 and '06 World Cups.

    OB1's thoughts on this

Hargreaves would be PERFECT for the MLS. Hes only 30, and because of his injury history he isn't staying with Man UTD however it is clear that when he is healthy he is one of the best CM in the world (top 25 in my opinion) so to bring him to the MLS is a great idea IMO. Its all reward low risk. If he can't play because of injury then the owners are out some dollars but it doesnt cost the league. If he does play (and he will play well if he does) it brings an incredible talent into the eyes of all MLS viewers

    That's what you think.

I have heard the rumor. It comes from a credible source. But, think about it...why wouldn't it be a possibility? Especially seeing the Crew being top 3 in the Eastern Conference and only averaging 11,000ish fans?! That's terrible! Why wouldn't the Hunt family think about other markets?
