That and moving his contract will be difficult/expensive (ie giving up a top 5 pick). It was announced today that the owners are seeking a $45 mill hard cap, which makes moving a Davis VERY difficult.

I really don't want to trade any of the picks in the draft. Let's get young and follow the OKC model.

Plus, if you get rid of Baron; you're left with Ramon Sessions at the PG position. Don't get me wrong, he played well; but let's be honest here.

Trading a pick would be dumb IMO, unless you get an idiotic trade/gift ala Lakers getting Pau Gasol type deal. Dont see that happening.

    ABJCavsInsider:

Wanna get greedy? #Cavs were "thisclose" to top 2 picks. Balls for #2 pick came out 9-5-7-1. One of Cavs' 199 combinations was 9-5-7-2.

Agreed, I think Irving can start, but Sessions has potential to be one of the better back up guards in the league. He's not there yet though.

Yeah Irving is your starter from day 1, no matter who is on the roster. He is head and shoulders above anyone.

Are you watching basketball? Dirk has 33 right now on 11 shots. Show me when Amare has done that, ever.

Irving won't be "there" yet either, assuming "there" means ready to win in the playoffs and take on the other PGs in the East right away. Maybe not a bad idea to let them grow together and then you end up with both of them. It's going to take a few years still.

Never, never will. But he can get you 35 and 15 in his own way in a monster game. But I agree that Dirk is the best PF in the game.

Don't know if this was already pointed out, but Nick Gilbert is 14 years old..

    Cavs got picks 1 & 4

    So what you're saying is....

    The lottery is rigged.

    Probably.

There is always the Ewing theory.

Is there a chance the Cavs end up with Irving and Williams?

Would Minny take Williams with Wes Johnson and Beasley? I think Minny could take Kanter and Utah could go with Walker or Knight because they need a PG as well... Unless they think Devin Harris is their guy.

    Kahn is insinuating so:

"This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines," Kahn said. "Last year it was Abe Pollin's widow and this year it was a 14-year-old boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar mitzvahed. We were done. I told Kevin: 'We're toast.' This is not happening for us and I was right."

I wonder if Stern will fine him with those comments. He is kind of on to something, so who knows. It was only fair for the Cavs to get the first pick imo. They were definitely the worst team, the twolves tanked at the end of the year because Love was out for the last 14+ games.

Wow Kahn. You can think what you want but you make an ass out of yourself with a statement like that. Not even saying he is wrong, but don't bring Gilbert's kid's disease into this--which is basically what he did.

Cavs slogan is also "All FOR ONE and ONE FOR All"

    Double mind fuck

It needs to be "What's not to like?"

Wait what? Been out at a bar tonight, did not realize they landed the 4th pick also. Huge.

    It's coming.

In the meantime, you can buy you "What's Not to Like" t-shirts from the friends at Fresh Brewed Tee's. $5 goes to Nick's foundation.

KAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNN is an idiot.. He's still banking that Rubio will be the savior to the franchise..

Kahn is a dick for bringing up Nick's disease. Adrian Wojnarowski had an excellent remark for him on Twitter:

"As for Kahn, there's no greater NBA storyline ever than an arrogant, unaccomplished D-League exec getting Stern's blessing to be an NBA GM."

That WOULD be awesome. I keep hearing that Utah has "plenty of bigs" so maybe it WILL happen?
