Yes Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, Farrior are all very good Linebackers but so is David Harris and Bart Scott. IMO Harris and Scott are both better the Foote he doesn't even start for the Steelers anymore but you guys are saying he is better hmmm

Hey Justin did you see Smitty had 10 total tackles yesterday....

Yeah, I knew he had a big game but didn't realize he had 10 tackles until I looked at the box score.

So its Monday....how long until Rex comes up with a reason why this game is "personal"? I'm surprised he waited this long.

    ticket prices are pretty high

I remember the last AFC Championship game against Baltimore, I thought they got down to under $200 later in the week

but right now it seems like everything is over $250

Its coming just be patient. Its probably going to deal with Tomlin having a Super Bowl Title and Ryan not and he has to know the coach off?

I don't think it will be like last week.

Ravens-Steelers and Pats-Jets have bad blood

not so much with these teams

but I'm sure one of the players will fuel things to make it interesting

    Agreed.

I hope for the Steelers' sake none of the guys put their foot in their mouth like Welker. :)

the Steelers really don't have many outspoken players right now

ever since Joey Porter left, they've been more like the Patriots

Hines occasionally will join in the talk

    Ahem. Welker. :)

But yeah, I get what you're saying. The Steelers do their talking on the field like the Pats claim to. At least the Steelers have won a playoff game the last 4 years, unlike the Pats. :)

Have to ask my buddies what the face value is on them this week. I would say cheapest face value is around 120 or so. Scalping tickets at the game, if you are patient and do your work...can get ya decent prices...but that can be a hassle....frustrating...and ya dont enjoy the pregame as much!

Wish I could go...but I will be off 'work' in plenty of time I am hoping!

I had a pretty good seat Saturday. I was in 123 in the closed end zone. The entire third quarter when the defense was down at that end they were right in front of where I was at.

We have a large group that goes to the games so there are like four seats in one section, three in another, two in another and then some will stand so I never really know where I'm going to sit until gameday and we work it out.

Sometimes I'll just pick up an extra one and that will open up another ticket for somebody else.

Think I sat in 123 for the steelers/browns wild card game in 2002. Section sounds familier...had the top row in that lower section....so could stand the whole game no matter what.

on a sad note...I did lose my original terrible towel in that game on a trip to, or from, the pisser toward the end of that game. Oh well.

    Man..this is gonna be one L O N G week.

I saying Steelers by 10. No kick offf return and no safety will put the score where it should have been.

Non, I heard somewhere that they used some extra seating that was left over from the hockey game. You know about that?

yeah in the open end zone they brought in a lot of extra seats, not sure exactly how many, but I think it looks better

that end didn't have that much noise but now it seems to be well rounded

it did take away a lot of the standing room in that open end, that's the only drawback

I was in row T so really not that far from the field but it was in the end zone so it was hard to see on the other end.

For example, the catch by Antonio Brown and the final touchdown went the other way.

I'd guess Bart Scott's the man for this, as he HATES Pittsburgh from his time in Baltimore. I remember him talking about how he was going to destroy Hines one time. Didn't work out so well for him, as Baltimore lost that game. Hopefully history repeats itself with his new one.

If the Steelers get off on the right foot and toe the line, I'll think they'll really be on their toes and put their best foot forward - and beat the Jets.

    Footy footy foot foot.

Anyone have an injury report on either team? I guess Flo Adams was sick as hell on the sideline, that is why he came out.

Thats the problem with that lower level. For the AFC champ vs the ratbirds i had top row of the lower bowl at the 10 yard line in the players family section (sat next to Spaeth's uncle and dad and such) and it was hard to see plays on the far side...like Polamalus TD return. Our season tix are in 513, JJ which is 3rd row from top. High as hell but for that afc champ game I was missing the good view from the top!

Haven't seen one for the Jets. I hope that Smith is back but Cromartie has done an excellent job as a kick returner while he's been out.

Speaking of Smith........I wonder if there's a chance that Aaron could play in this game. That would be awesome. I think it would provide a big emotional lift for the defense and the whole team for that matter. He's a respected and well-liked veteran player. Hood has played pretty well in his absence though.
