AFC Championship - (6) New York Jets at (2) Pittsburgh Steelers
-
NonFor awhile I wanted the Steelers to have to beat New England but ehh, who cares.
It's better to host the AFC Championship game.
The city gets another huge spectacle and event.
All the media will be there at the end of the week. It's a better venue than Gilette Stadium. That place doesn't seem to have much atmosphere. The fans are too far away or something. -
HereticThe first letter in ESPN is for Entertainment. With their boisterous trash-talking "we don't give a fuck" ways, the Jets are entertaining. If I ran ESPN, I'd be all over them for all the soundbites I can get. Just the nature of the beast. I don't mind. This is going to be another 60 minutes of intensity game and the more hype it gets, the better. I don't care why it's getting hyped, as long as it is getting hyped.

Clearly you haven't watched Bart Scott this year. He does all the dirty work and gets no credit for it. He has been great this year. -

Well, they had their toungue's up the Pats ass all week leading up to this game so they just wanted to see what a winner tasted like. -
End of LineHere's the interview:

He couldn't sniff the jockstraps of Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, or Foote. He was a loud mouth bastard in Baltimore and remains such. Win the big one before you start bumping your gums.justincredible;641047 wrote:Clearly you haven't watched Bart Scott this year. He does all the dirty work and gets no credit for it. Don't tell me what to do. You're my enemy this week. -
Ironman92Bart Scott will make some big plays....he's pretty good.
His talk is not as good as his play though.....notch below Joey Porter in the day. -
NonI'm really surprised at the Jets defense.
It definitely looked like they were falling off towards the end of the year but they've made some adjustments and are getting after it again.
Ellis was a hoss. Steelers offensive line is banged up and they're pretty bad even when they're not banged up.
I don't see the Jets ripping through the Steelers defense either.
Long week of breaking this down but initially I think it will be a low scoring affair. -

Ellis was awful in the 45-3 beat down so I wasn't surprised to see him go into Beastmode last night.
I agree with each of your points. I don't think either offense is going to do much they way both defenses are playing. Sanchez is the key to this game. If he plays like last night I see the Jets making just enough plays to eek out a win. If he has a bad night the Jets will lose big.
My heart says Jets win 13-10. My head says Steelers win 17-13.
Like Bart, can't wait! -
Ironman92or like Ellis....can't weight!

Tiger2003This is going to be a great game. Some of you guys are not using your head or you have your blinders on. Yes Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, Farrior are all very good Linebackers but so is David Harris and Bart Scott. IMO Harris and Scott are both better the Foote he doesn't even start for the Steelers anymore but you guys are saying he is better hmmm
Hey Justin did you see Smitty had 10 total tackles yesterday.... -
