    Getting closer now.

This is why they're in this business.

You go through all of the draft process, the mini camps, the training camps, 16 games, brutal games against Baltimore (for Pittsburgh) and New England (for the Jets).

All comes down to this for the right to go to the Super Bowl.

    Steelers/Packers Superbowl is 53% on espn.com.

You can't go wrong with Packers vs. Jets or Steelers vs. Packers

Either would be one of the most watched Super Bowls, along with breaking the attendance record.

Steelers vs. Packers would be a little better, I'd say, because of the fans being two of the most passionate in the NFL.

    Covers.com has Pitts -3.5 (56%) NYJ +3.5 (44%) Luckily I locked NYJ +4 about Tuesday.

Breaking the attendance record at this years SB is a joke!! They are selling 200.00 tickets to stand outside the stadium and watch on a huge screen. The ppl buying these and standing outside the stadium in the marked off area WILL be counted in the actual game attendance.

I ask, how can you be counted as attending the game when you didnt even get inside the stadium?
  • Non
I agree about that. Crazy to spend $200 to watch outside the stadium on a screen.

I didn't realize the Steelers Super Bowl against the Rams was still the largest attendance, at the Rose Bowl.

I'm sure they haven't played in a bigger stadium since then but then you wonder why not play in a bigger stadium. Over 30 years that's a lot of tickets they could've sold.

Nevermind now that I look, there were three other games played in Pasadena after that.

For my money to be a Steelers fan you must be able to automatically spell Polamalu and Roethlisberger.

Kind of like a Duke fan not being able to spell Krzyzewski.

They've earned it...learn how to spell their names.

I bet you checked and re-checked the spelling of those names before you posted that.

Just heard Hines Ward on the radio. He said if the fans do their job and the Steelers win he is going up in the stands after the game.

To cheap shot Jets fans as they leave?

    Just kidding.
  • Thinthickbigred
    Hines is the man ..
  • september63
Define cheap shot? Because Hines Ward is famous for the illegal "crackback" block but Steelers fans dont think that should be considered a cheap shot.
