I can see our seats from this picture!

Anyone ever tailgate by the big gravel lot right by the West End bridge?

Yeah, Ed Bouchette said he won't play. He's been very limited at practice.

Our old tailgate spot was by the Clark Bar at Three Rivers. At Heinz we don't have a reserved spot so we park in the Allegeny Center Garage and meet up with another guy who hosts a big tailgate party. It's on that main strip that leads from PNC Park to Heinz Field.

We rarely get to that side anymore. At three rivers we would tailgate at the Mesco (believe that was the buildin name) lot.
Anymore we go to strip district early on, then park on a street by the west end bridge and JuneBug watches our cars (although I find it odd he still lives here...couple years ago he said "I wont be here next season because Obama is gonna get me outta this hellhole" (his apt is pretty crappy by the looks of it).

JETS are taking the path the steelers discovered, and others have followed, in winning all three games on teh road. Rex Ryan is the new genius in the league as he knocked off Belicheck....and the steeles have lost 3 games at home.

I see it as a perfect storm that allows the Jets to make it to the SB>

I think it's going to come down to the last play of the game.

Same as those AFC championship games against the Chargers and Colts. Not a lot of scoring. The Chargers game the Steelers had 4th and goal from the 3 and Dennis Gibson batted down the pass for Barry Foster and then the next year the Steelers won at the end after the hail mary fell incomplete.

I really think it will be like that. A real heart stopper.

I do think if the Steelers line plays like it did last time against the Jets, they'll be in good shape.

They rushed for 147 yards. Mendenhall had 100.

I'm not sure why they had that kind of success. Maybe it was just a bad game by the Jets but maybe they had some kind of matchup edge.

The Steelers offense had me worried mid to late season, but it seems like in the last three games they are finding a good rhythm.

It certainly feels like the national media wants the Jets to win. But that should be expected.

Just as long as it doesn't show up in the officiating.

Hochuli is usually one of the better refs.

The Steelers held the Ravens to only 126 yards and they had five sacks and three takeaways.

And that was without Polamalu doing much.

That might be a good sign for the Steelers.

yeah, because the refs, goodell, the nfl, the world, etc. are against pittsburgh.

    Nope. Mendenhall had 99. :)

In the end it doesn't really matter as Forte rushed for about a million yards against them. Stupid Bears.

The national media, ESPN and so forth are bias towards the Jets winning this week. That's all I'm saying.

That shouldn't matter on gameday and I don't think it will. But as I said last week before the Baltimore game, anything can happen.

I look at all angles. That's all.

The Steelers have won two Super Bowls recently and the national media doesn't want them to win again.

Of the four teams left, they're the most hated team because of that. Some of it is jealousy.

The darling New York team winning for the first time in 40 some years is the preferred storyline.

It shouldn't matter when they kick it off but you never know when humans are involved, as officials.

It was a friend's season tickets and his dad can't make it. I'm guessing he had the spot filled in no time. If the bastard would have told me earlier in the week I could have made it happen.

I could have gotten off Monday and took the train straight into Pittsburgh on Saturday. Shitty timing....but it happens.

I haven't been to a playoff game since '05 when they beat the Jets in OT.

    Yeah, 99.

But still that's pretty good against a good defense.

The Jets have to deal with more balance from the Steelers than they did with the Colts and Patriots, who won't stick with the run even if you over play the pass.

Better yet. www.ticketnetwork.com As low as 213.00 gets you in the stadium.
