OQBI wouldn't mind that draft as long as we could address all the needs....DL, WR, OL, DB

I would take him. -

why? draft some talent in the mid-rounds and save the $ and headache -
OneBuckeyeJust because we need speed and a vertical threat so badly. He can behave if he wants, you just have to pay attention to him and he will be fine.
In other news my 4 rounds in a mock draft so far on another board.
1. Von Miller OLB T A&M
2. Corey Luiget DT Illinois
3. Orlando Franklin OT/OG Miami
4. Austin Pettis WR BSU -
Commander of AwesomeIf Luiget fell to us in the second that would be unreal, I personally dont see it as I think he's mid first rounder. I also really like both Boise St. WRs, and would gladly take either of the two.

mucalum49From Cecil Shorts pro day at Mount Union. He ran a 4.35 and 4.45 40 yard dash. It was impressive because it was 37 degrees and rainy when he ran it. From watching the video of him run he was running south to north which from my experience there is a wind tunnel that blows in the stadium from north to south. So running against that is pretty impressive too. The Browns were reported to have someone there to watch him workout.
Edit: Link has the story and video

fiverCaught this little tidbit and thought I'd share. Randy Moss mentions Cleveland as a place he could play.

like_thatDon't want him, but I wonder why he says he wouldn't mind playing in Cleveland. Does he have a connection with any of the coaches or somebody in the front office?

Hey did anyone see that Randy Moss was interested in coming to the Browns?Caught this little tidbit and thought I'd share. Randy Moss mentions Cleveland as a place he could play.

haha
No thanks! -
Commander of AwesomeI could see how itd be possible for Moss to come in here and teach our young wrs, mentor etc... But then I remember all the teams he's been on and proven to mail it in when things don't go his way (Oak, Minn, Tenn) and that's what makes me say no thanks. That wouldn't fly with this fan base.

SonofanumpFor what it’s worth, McShay has two QBs in the first five picks. Not an insider, so I don’t know who he projects for Cleveland, but I’d think that this would be ideal for both to be picked before the Browns pick:
Carolina- Marcell Dareus, DT, Alabama
Denver - Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M
Buffalo _ Blaine Gabbert, QB, Missouri
Cincinnati - A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
Arizona - Cam Newton, QB, Auburn -
se-alumI still like Peterson @ 6. I think he's the biggest "sure thing" in this draft.

He projected Da'Quan Bowers to the Browns. Then in Round 2 he has us taking Jimmy Smith, CB from Colorado. -
SonofanumpThanks. I think I'd rather have Peterson than Bowers.
-
Commander of AwesomeI'd rather have dline with the first pick. We have a HUGE hole on the dline to fill. With the resigning Eric Wright I thiink we're going dline first round.
-
mucalum49My favorite mock draft had us taking dline in the first and then Cam Heyward falling to us in the 2nd. It makes me think of Tampa's draft last year taking Gerald McCoy first and then the DT from UCLA in the 2nd. If we can get Bowers, Heyward to work the ends with Rubin and someone else as the DT, that's a good young defensive line IMO.

OQBok well with not much to talk about on here......What would you guys think of a uniform overhaul? Or atleast little tweaks here and there? Take a look at these uniforms thought up:

I didn't see anything that looks good enough to get rid of the current uniforms.OQB;719531 wrote:ok well with not much to talk about on here......What would you guys think of a uniform overhaul? Or atleast little tweaks here and there? Take a look at these uniforms thought up:

Commander of AwesomeDont like the orange numbers, nor the orange parts of the shoulder pads. Too much going on for my taste.
-
like_thatlol at the 2nd link. That would be a complete joke. I do think they should bring back the Cleveland Brownie, just not on the uniforms. I say put him the center of the field. As for uni changes, one thing i would like to see is the old school orange pants, brown jersey combo.
-
OneBuckeyeTodd McShay's latest draft has the Browns sitting at number 6 with Dequan Bowers and Patrick Peterson both on the board. A dream scenario IMO. Who would you go with if that were the case? McShay has the Browns taking Bowers in that position.
http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/insider/news/story?page=McShayMock4.0 -
Commander of AwesomeI would also go Bowers.

I think the Clowns have more important things to worry about than uniforms.
