Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals (2-10) at Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3)
-
Non
Huge win for the Steelers in Baltimore but the season continues. And a stumble against a desperate Cincinnati team would erase what they accomplished by beating the Ravens.
The coaches and players will say otherwise but you can bank on a bit of a let down by the Steelers in this one. Coming off the emotional and hard-hitting game and now playing a 1 p.m. game.
Plus the team has significant injuries. They also have already received some scares from Cincinnati and Buffalo.
This is a game you'd like to see the Steelers put it away early and not give the Bengals much belief. -

killer_ewokThis is a big game following last night's victory. Win this game....we can afford a loss to the Jets. Lose to Cincy....and the pressure will be on them to beat New York.
I doubt it will be easy. I am concerned...especially with all of the injuries and lack of depth at certain positions. -
NonYou have to like the way some of the youngsters stepped up.
David Johnson, Isaac Redman, Emmanuel Sanders for example.
But they simply can't lose Miller for too long. Just based on how other players have gone through the post-concussion tests, it seems like it would be a surprise if he plays this game. They usually miss one at least. -
rock_knutneThe Steelers can't fuck around with the Bungles this time........jump on them early and squeeze the life out of them! Rest assured, Ocho Stinko and company would love nothing more than derailing Pittsburgh's momentum.
-
bigdaddy2003For some strange reason I think Cincy will pull out a W in this one.

Art ModellThis game scares me. Hopefully the Bungals have their cars packed and ready to mail in the season.
Any Steeler fan know if they resodded Heinz Field. It's been a few weeks since the High school games. I noticed it was pretty tore up during the Pitt-Wvu game. -
johngrizzlyPittsburgh is beat all to hell.
Maybe Pittsburgh will get a break from the officials......well, maybe not. -

Pittsburgh sports writer Ron Cook said there were 5 personal fouls on Baltimore that weren't called. 3 of them were committed on Roethlisberger. -
johngrizzlyBen gained some respect last night. There is no other QB in the league that could have got rid of the ball the way he did when THuggs had his earhole. Playing on a bad wheel and broke nose is gutty too.
-
bigdaddy2003Yeah, just like I am sure there were fouls on Pittsburgh that weren't called also.
-
NonBaltimore's tackles were getting away with false starts the whole game.
I honestly didn't see the Steelers' tackles pulling up early like the Ravens were.
I think that's something the Steelers should bring up in case they meet again. -
johngrizzlyAlso, Big Ben beats Baltimore often. I like that.
-
johngrizzlyIn the last three weeks Pittsburgh has lost more big plays due to crazy ass calls. 20 yd. completetion-illegal formation, 17 yd run on 3rd and long-holding, 25 yd pass- illegal uniform, punt to opponents 1 yd line-guys steps out of bounds.

Come on bigdaddy you're better than that. Without even thinking about it I can name the 5 and so can you. And all 5 the jackass refs were right in position and refused to throw a flag. I'm surprised they let Redman score without calling a penalty. -
NonThey did re-sod after the high school playoff games.
FYI the Steelers-Jets game is at 4:15 pm on CBS and won't be the flex game, CBS protected it
I like that better, I'm tired of the primetime games to be honest -
bigdaddy2003Like I said Art I am sure there were missed calls on both sides. Just a fact. No bias needed.
Oh and NON I am glad you stated that Oher gets away with a lot. He only got called for 3 or 4 penalties last night. Sounds like he gets away with a lot. lol -

Good to hear about the sod. As far as the primetime games, I recall reading somewhere that a team can only have so many primetime games. We've had 4 and have one more against Carolina left. -

Maybe they should make a movie about James Harrisons upbringing and the refs may give him some slack. -

Oher and the other tackle both were allowed to false start several times -

I did not know the Ravens still had to play Carolina. -

LMFAO........you taking a page out of Harbaugh's book? Seriously, you don't want to open that can of worms, the personal fouls aside, Harrison and Woodley were blatantly held on just about every single play and as usual nothing gets called. -

Even Collinsworth said it last night, Oher gets away with an early jump every week! -
THE4RINGZAnd if Collinsworth the most notorious Steelers hater in the media stood up for Pittsburgh that makes it legit.
