Good to see Vickers behind the wheel. 29/32 this week, could be a 64th smaller by next. No way it gets bigger.

Sam Hornish Jr. will compete in at least 10 NASCAR Nationwide races this season, beginning with the DRIVEFORCOPD 300 at Daytona International Speedway, team owner Roger Penske confirmed by email on Saturday. Chad Walters will serve as Hornish's crew chief. Penske's acknowledgment confirms a report earlier this week by FOXSports.com's Jeff Hammond, who said Hornish would not return to Sprint Cup competition in a Penske car this season. Penske also verified that the #77 car's [owners points, was 30th in 2010] points will be used by Stephen Wallace, who is attempting to make his Cup debut at Daytona. Wallace, 23, currently drives the #66 Toyota for his father at Rusty Wallace Racing [in the Nationwide Series].(FoxSports), so Wallace is guaranteed making the Daytona 500.

Taking 'Boys have at it' down under...
    http://www.speedcafe.com.au/2011/01/15/stewart-interviewed-by-parramatta-police/
US NASCAR superstar Tony Stewart has allegedly been involved in a off-track incident at Sydney Speedway which has seen him interviewed by Parramatta police this morning.
Stewart was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with speedway co-owner and former driver Brett Morris after early-evening time trials.

Staff at Parramatta Police Station confirmed to Speedcafe.com.au this morning at 12.49am (AEDST) that Stewart was being held for questioning, but indicated that nothing could be confirmed about the incident until later today – including whether Stewart had been officially charged or whether similar charges were being pursued by Stewart against Morris.

rumor is Morris got a broken jaw from a helmet.

    Is it Feb. 20th yet?!?!?!

Friday at noon will be the official announcement for the new rule changes for the chase. I don't know what they will do, but unless the NFL has a lockout it won't matter.

15 yr old Cody Coughlin (Jeg's) is pre-entered in a crate/pro late model for New Smyrna Speedway's World Series of Asphalt. Couple of other Ohio guys in super late models so far.

Nascar testing this week, Rolex 24 next week, AllStar Sprints at Ocala Feb. 4&5th, then Volusia has AllStar and World of Outlaws Sprints, World of Outlaws late models. East Bay has 6 nights of Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models if I find time to get to Tampa. All this goes on at once, then its over as fast as it starts. Then I can't wait to see Bubba Stewart back on the Supercross track here.

Read an Associated Press report earlier tonight that indicated NASCAR is considering changing it's points system.....Race Winner gets 43, 2nd place gets 42 etc. all the way down to 1 point for 43rd place finish.

I seen that. I love that points system. The most consistent driver will win. I've thrown that one around many times. I don't know why the hell they didn't do it sooner.

Penske is the only team that drives the Dodges. And Penske is down to the #2 and #22 cars this season.
