Jackets win, 3 in a row, Nasher with the hat trick!
  • osudarby08
as most fans in columbus are obsessing with buckeye football (including myself), the JACKETS are quietly becoming one of the best teams in the league! This winter is going to be amazing for me: Season tickets for buckeye bball with seats right behind the benches and the blue jackets looking like a very good team. Its almost as if football season will never end!

Get out of here Debby Downer!

Amazing performance last night by the Jackets. Garon played solid in the net, especially on the PP and the stretches in the 3rd. Nash's 2nd goal was just sick.
I don't think the Jackets have ever accomplished an all out sweep on the West Coast.

Jackets fly back to cbus today and play the struggling Preds on Monday. Hopefully, the Jackets don't get a hangover and can win at home.

Jackets vs Preds tonight. Nashville has won four out of their last five, Jackets have won four out of their last five. In this tough division, you've gotta get your wins when you can; tonight is one of those nights. Let's go Jackets, let's go get two points, and let's jump the Blues for 2nd place in the division.

    Will attendance be better tonight?

Jackets up 2-0 after 2. Nash with his 13th of the season, Commodore also found the back of the net. Mason has stopped all 15 shots thus far. Come on Jackets, 20 more minutes of solid hockey!

Jackets win 2-0, Mason with the shutout! Let's go for 5 in a row against the Islanders on Wednesday before the BIG home-and-home with Detroit this weekend. BTW, we're alone in 2nd place of the division now ... just two points back of Detroit for the most points in the West. What a great start to the season, better than I ever could have imagined.

Jackets on a roll. Awesome performance from Mason and the boys. This is the best I've ever seen the Jackets. Hopefully, it get rolling this week in NY and against the Wings.

BTW, Wed is the announcement for the 3rd jersey. Looks like it will have a cannon on it and modeled after the NYR 3rd jersey. Sounds pretty good.

Nash is in MVP form and the Jackets have two #1 goaltenders right now. Hopefully Methot isnt hurt too badly, him and Klelsa are a combined +30 as a pair which is unheard of in columbus.

Man I can't believe the roll they are on. Nashville always has our number but not this time.
Nash is the #1 star of the week and rightfully so 7 goals in his last 4 games.

    No........to Nash being an MVP

They are giving out a Nash Bobblehead in the 3rd Jersey in March.

Also excited to see they are doing the Subway promotion again this year.

Jackets travel to Long Island tonight. This is the kind of game the good teams don't sweat. The Islanders are the worst team in the league, losers of 13 straight. Jackets need to come out and dominate from the puck drop. Anything less than 2 points is a big, big disappointment in my eyes.

^^^If Roloson is playing and catches fire, he is a hard goalie to beat.

I agree with this. Hearing that Detroit maybe a sellout on Friday.

Jackets rebounded nicely from being down 0-1 with 2 quick goals and are up 2-1 end of 1. Goals by Vermette and Clark.
They are about to announce the third jersey.
  • ptown_trojans_1
Third jersey is pretty nice. Has the cannon as the feature with a circle crest. Columbus Bluejackets rim the outside, with a single star, symbolizing the state capital. Color is Union blue, with yolk and lighter blue horizontal stripes.

Has the traditional string tie at the neck and a unique collar, like the Union uniform. I really like them.

I never said he was going to win it...but the way he has played in the last eight games have been as good as anyone.

I like the 3rd jersey too. Nice bounce back in the 1st period by the CBJ and that fight was bullshit Boll got jumped.
  • gorocks99
Jackets win in OT! 28 points, tied for first (point-wise) with the Red Wings for best in the West. AMAZING. LET'S GO JACKETS, BEAT DETROIT!!!!
  • gerb131
Voracek with the game winner. Keep on keeping on Friday.
  • Midstate01
Fridays have not been nice to the jackets.

Those thirds remind of the Pens and Panthers 3rd jersey's.
