How ugly will the Celtics collapse be?

  I wouldn't say this Celtics "collapse" is ugly, but it becoming very interesting. I'm a bit bummed I have to work tonight.

  Yeah, it's kind of like a bunch of dumb fuckers parading around telling everyone I said Andy Varejao is a HOF player. Knowing full well that I included some big if's that were conveniently left out when spreading the word about how stupid I am.

  Yes, but here's the thing:
  
  There are no IFS regarding Andy's HOF chances. They don't exist. There is no realistic scenario where he is voted into the HOF. None. You and I have as much chance as ending up in the HOF as Andy does.

  Nah it's the fact that he acts like he is the board's resident NBA expert and he doesn't know anything. It was obvious that the Celtics weren't going to be a push over (to us non-biased folk not wearing blinders) but he starts a thread predicting their demise. The point all along was that Cavs fans like SQ shouldn't have been wetting their pants over some regular season victories that the Cavs had/the Celtics didn't have.

  agreed. How lame is/was that? I've said it over and over again. Just look at his other posts. Especially the one that includes talk about the Knicks beating the Celtics and how it was unacceptable for a team who is headed to the playoffs.

  To be totally honest with you guys, call me a homer (remember I'm admittedly a fan of LeBron before I'm a fan of the Cavs and titles don't hold much water with me in the individual argument--though I'll never disagree that they aren't important or nice to have) but I honestly don't think that the Cavs are going to have that tough of a time with anyone. The only team that worries me more than just the natural worry of knowing that they play the games for a reason, is the Lakers. And that is ONLY if Bynum is healthy and they're spreading the ball around. If Kobe is shooting 25 shots a game, I'm not that worried. LeBron can match whatever he does and do it much more efficiently AND get his teammates involved. But they're very dangerous when they spread the ball around--and I totally expect them to make the Finals, their defense is their problem right now. I've been hard on them, but I just dish out what we receive when the Cavs lose and this site would be boring without us going back and forth, I love it personally. But I expect them to be able to "turn it on" for the playoffs because while the offense hasn't been GREAT, the problem is defense. And that's just about effort really. The Lakers will run through the West like most people thought they would before the AS break. They might have some 6 game series, but even a 6 game series can look like it's won fairly easily. I DO think that if anyone can knock them off, it's the Spurs. I don't believe in the Nuggets or the Jazz at all, they're toast. But the Spurs are a real contender, I thought that at the beginning of the season and because of injury they haven't accumulated the wins. But they're a really good team and a team that knows how to win in the playoffs.
  
  But in all honesty, I won't be surprised if the Cavs dominate this years playoffs. I mean, we'll see what happens--I know anything can happen, and like I said before, they play the games for a reason. Bottom line is, I should be right on the ASSUMPTION that our team plays up to it's potential. And right now, I have no reason to think otherwise, they've done it all season and IMO, they've continued to get better down the stretch.
