How ugly will the Celtics collapse be?
-
SQ_CraziesEmpirical evidence...LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!
-
SageLol. NBA ppl want to see lbj/kobe... But casual fans.. It's not even close.
Boston-LA is the NBA bro. They have stars, la has stars. The history, the rivalry, it's all there.
Compare the 08 ratings to 09 ratings. Magic were a small market team with a dominant star (Dwight Howard) surrounded by puzzle piece players.
The Cavs have nobody besides LeBron and a decaying Shaq.
It's not fucking rocket science. Just because you want to see Lakers/Cavs so bad doesn't mean the rest of the ppl in the world would cry if it doesn't end up that way.
Quit being a putz and man up to some logic. -
newarkcatholicfanIt has two games to get ugly.
-
SQ_CraziesYeah right. Casual fans want to see the two best players. Casual fans all saw the Puppet commercials, casual fans have heard more about Kobe and LeBron in the last 2 years than anything else--it's been the biggest story in the NBA.
If anything, it's NBA fans that want LA/Boston for the history of it.

Are the people voting on this poll from the MIAMI HERALD all "NBA people". No, probably mostly casual fans. -

Hey man, I'm from Salem.. I'm a pretty good poster-- at least I think most people would say that. It's not a Salem thing, it's an SQ thing ha.lhslep134 wrote: Who's we? I'm pretty sure you're the only dumbass on this thread, in fact theres plenty of examples of you being a dumbass.
If you're referring to my erroneous Gibson thread I've already manned up to numerous times, I've already stated on here that I can't help Gibson changed his mind and I only posted what I heard, and then went on to make an extremely stupid remark.
^^^^ See what I did there? I took responsibility for a mistake. I have no doubt in my mind you have the intellectual capability to take responsibility, however you lack the basic intellect to even know when you're wrong, which is the majority of the time.
No surprise you're an inbred hick from Salem, they sure know how to teach em well there. -
lhslep134
I'm sorry, you're right, you are a good poster. In a rush, I found the quickest way to insult him. Personally, everyone I've ever dealt with from Salem besides SQ has been a wonderful opponent (baseball and basketball) and very friendly.jpake1 wrote:

Maybe it's the interbreeding in SQ's part of town... -
jpake1I can agree with that. He's on the other side of town than I was... maybe something in the water.
-
SQ_CraziesYes, interbreeding...right. LOL, that's soooooooo insulting!
-
jpake1Buuuuuurrrrrrnnnnnn!!!! Haha
-
SQ_CraziesI'm not sure how much more I can take!
-
jpake1It's cool mang. Just stop, drop, and roll. No more burning!
-
SQ_CraziesGot it, thank you.
Any jobs available out there at your place of employment? I may need one...lol -
jpake1Not that I know of, but with over 100k people, I'm sure there's at least one job for ya. What happened now?
-
SQ_CraziesOh nothin', my aunt still wants me to move out there though and I'm still considering it.
-
jpake1Gotcha. Your sig should say... release the beast-- from his contract, byyyye.
-
hoops23It's hilarious that he calls Cavs fans pathetic..
What does he think NY fans would have done yesterday? Hell, the media is already killing LeBron.
Some people.... -
jpake1Everybody and their mother should rip him. It was that bad. It is kinda funny. It's blown my mind how loyal fans and obsessive fans have been with him and their team the past two years, but now they're throwing them under the bus and running them over.
-
hoops23Without LeBron, we're not a contender..
With LeBron, we always have a shot.. However, his play AND the teams play has been absolutely pathetic.
Like I said, I can take losing--I have all my life as a Cleveland fan, BUT what I can't take is when my team shows NO effort, NO heart, or NO desire to even compete, especially in front of the hometown fans.
I'm not just throwing LeBron under the bus, I'm throwing the entire team AND coaching staff under.
If we don't win the championship, we'll be the first team in NBA history to post the regular seasons best record two years in a row w/o a title. That's terrible. -
jpake1You don't throw your team under the bus. You tell it like it is, with passion. But you don't throw them under the bus... if you're actually a fan. You throw them under the bus when you don't really care and will simply move onto the next best thing.
-
SQ_CraziesNo.
The reason I say, FUCK YOU, is because you're calling the series over and you've thrown the team under the bus before the series is over.
And LeBron played a shitty game. The media spins whatever he says, read it for yourself ya doucher. He didn't make any excuses. And he's ready for game 6. We'll see if he is. You either have it or you don't, but you don't get suicidal and start talking shit like you could do it better when your team and favorite player play like shit. Typical Cleveland fashion though, it's literally the same reason I stopped being a Browns fan. -

If I'm a fan I have every right to call the team I cheer for out. That is telling it like it is. I told it like it was yesterday and I'll tell it like it is today.
The Cavs don't give a fuck about this series so far. Down 3-2 will that change? We'll see.
I hope to god they win Game 6, but what have I seen to prove me otherwise? NOTHING. 4 of the 5 games we've been dominated. Point blank. -

I don't think it's throwing them under the bus when people rightly criticize them for that awful display last night. I was there and left early. As I was walking out I couldn't believe I was leaving the arena with 6:00 to go at GAME 5 of the 2nd round.jpake1 wrote: You don't throw your team under the bus. You tell it like it is, with passion. Your opinions are no longer relevant to me. I don't give a shit about what a fan of a player says or thinks about a team game.SQ_Crazies wrote: No.

I'll continue to have the series discussions and Cavaliers related discussions with the Cavs fans.
I also don't think I seen anybody saying they could do it better though?
Get this: YOU'RE NOT A CLEVELAND FAN! And unless YOU ARE, you don't even begin to understand the shit we've gone through in sports.
All the Browns blunders, the Tribe in '95, the Tribe being an out away in '97, the Tribe up 3-1 in '07.. The Cavs last year against Orlando...
Those are just a few of the examples. It's been like this for a lot of our lifetimes. So who the fuck are YOU to tell us how we should or shouldn't feel?
Of course people hit the panic button, we've seen this SAME story over and over and over and over and over again.
Point is, why does it bother you? Let us Cleveland fans be... You're not a Cleveland fan, you're a LeBron fan.. Why does what we say on an internet message board bother you so much?
lol... But like I said, I'm done debating with you. -

That's exactly what I'm saying. Is that too hard to understand? I said you don't throw them under the bus. However, you do tell it like it is.hangonsloopy wrote:
