How ugly will the Celtics collapse be?

SQ_Crazies wrote: Funny thing is all I ever said was I didn't think it would go past 5 games, not 4.

But the best part about your last post jordo, is that you said others "interpreted" the first post the same way you did. No shit, because like I said, it's a common occurrence for MANY people on this thread to take something out of context and not at face value.
If "dirty play" was the original context... why didn't you set the record straight and say that after one post? The answer is, you didn't. The fact is you never said anything about dirty play until today, well after the fact. You were wrong, your balls got busted, and now you are in damage control mode.

    Original post.
SQ_Crazies wrote: I'm just sayin', I think it's going to be some mega drama.
My 3rd post in the thread.

Sorry that you couldn't see what I meant, thought it was pretty obvious considering how often their dirty play is talked about.

I shouldn't be surprised though I guess. This is what you do. You post obnoxious things that are off base and once you are disproved you panic and start deflecting. The PPG/Kevin Durant argument comes to mind. You were doing so much spinning that night, did you get dizzy?
  • SQ_Crazies
LOL, like I said, it isn't my fault that you take my words and assume what I'm saying rather than just read what I'm saying. I can't help you there...but whatever you say big guy.

The C's lost to the fuckin' Knicks tonight. And EARL BARRON had 17 and 18. Are you kidding me? THEY'RE FIGHTING FOR A PLAYOFF SPOT. LOL, starting a thread about a collapse had NOTHING to do with the Cavs.

The most obvious thing isn't the arrogance of Cavs fans, it's the the incredible rush to knock Cavs fans down so quickly about anything.
Another post, this one from the 2nd page.
SQ_Crazies wrote: I just think the Celtics could go down in flames and it could look bad for them. I don't think they'll take losing well at all and they will lose.
    Another one.

Again, never said anything about the Cavs. YOU brought them up in the 1st response to the thread jordo.

I think it's going to be ugly. I'm praying that the Cavs don't play them because I think it will be epic in that case. Don't want to see anyone get hurt--and yes I think they may really get that bad.

I can't lie, I'm all excited to see it happen.
    Quoted for irony.

I still see Cleveland winning the series, but I don't think it is going to be nearly as easy as the board's self appointed expert thought.
Oh wait, LOL, I found this gem too. You calling the Celtics/Cavs series before the REGULAR season was over. And like I said on the first page, what does this have to do with the Cavs? We may not even play them.

Then we did. Then the Cavs lost a game because they played like shit and now this thread comes out of the woodwork and you're trying to make me look like an ass for assuming the wrong thing about why the thread was started.

Any more questions, jackass? I'm really DEFLECTING aren't I?

Nowhere, absolutely nowhere do you say anything about the Celtics playing dirty in there. You are talking about their losing and how they won't take it well and how it will be a collapse. Haha. That's where all this came from.

You've asked about the Cavs before too. The Cavs got brought into this because of the 1st post in this thread! Haha:

"I think it's going to be ugly. I'm praying that the Cavs don't play them because I think it will be epic in that case. Don't want to see anyone get hurt--and yes I think they may really get that bad.

LMAO! I honestly can't believe you're this dumb.
  • 2quik4u
so the game had nothing to do with how the Celtic's played, It was just the cav's played like shit?

2quik4u wrote: so the game had nothing to do with how the Celtic's played, It was just the cav's played like shit?
No, it did. You'll see in the game thread where I gave the C's credit for taking advantage of us being off our game.

But this has nothing to do with the Cavs and it never did. It's about the Celtics. The thread was started before the playoff match ups were even set.
  • jordo212000
If you *were* talking about their dirty play. Emphasis on "were", why would you be excited to see it happen like you said in your first post? That doesn't make any sense, especially since somebody got hurt in a Celtics-Cavs game previously. I know very few rational people who want to watch their championship caliber team play a team that may hurt their players
  • SQ_Crazies
I HAD NO IDEA THE CELTICS AND CAVS WOULD PLAY WHEN I SAID IT. Do you understand?

I was excited to see it happen because I want to watch guys that have a history of flying off the handle (Perkins, KG, Sheed and Pierce) who play for a team that I can't stand, actually fly off the handle. And with their age, I don't think they'll take well to losing because it might be the last chance. Which is why that was prefaced by saying I hope it isn't against the Cavs because I don't want to see someone get hurt--especially on my team. And I could see that happening, because LIKE I SAID, I think it could get that ugly.

I could be wrong, fact is I asked a question and rather than answering it you started this whole bullshit about the Cavs. The question had nothing to do with the Cavs. If this were a test, you failed with the first post.
  • SQ_Crazies
And I don't really care whether you believe those were my intentions or not. Check the date, the regular season was still in play--I had no idea what the playoff matchups would be. That was my intention, which is why I don't care what you think. Clearly I didn't spell it out well enough for your dumbass but I like to think that everyone pays attention to the conversations around here and could see what I meant. Almost as bad an assumption as the one you made apparently.
  • jordo212000
Well, yeah duh. In your first post you imply that you didn't know if they were going to play. "praying they didn't because it would be an epic (collapse)".

I made it about the Cavs when you went ahead and threw them into the mix while trashing the Celtics for losing a few meaningless regular season games. My point remains the same, be careful what you wish for. The Celtics have won it before, they get plenty of rest, and they are more than capable of making the Cavaliers (and their fans) sweat.

You're STILL taking things out of context.

I'm done with you, I feel like you're starting to pull MY IQ down just responding to your stupidity.

It's only out of context now that you have changed the context so that it is less embarrassing for you when people like me bump this thread.
  • trep14
The original post was definitely wrong. Even if you are trying to retroactively explain the post by saying you were talking about "dirty play", you were still wrong in that the Celtics are A) Not close to being done and B) Have not resorted to any kind of underhanded tactics whatsoever. Just cut your losses and move on kid. We've seen this story before with the Durant/ppg argument that jordo alluded to earlier.

When people post stupid things they must be made responsible for it.
  • SQ_Crazies
Then take responsibility for your 1st post.
  • lhslep134
Once again SQ is made to be the wrong arrogant punk that he is, and once again he goes into full damage control "spin everything in my favor" mode.

    Haven't we seen this before?
  • SQ_Crazies
    What am I spinning?
  • lhslep134
If you can't figure that out, it's not even worth my effort trying to explain.
  • jordo212000
SQ_Crazies wrote: Then take responsibility for your 1st post.
You never freaking said anything about dirty play until after the Celtics beat the Cavs. Obviously this is your angle to try and redeem any sort of credibility you can get.

If I was "off" in my first post, it is your responsibility to correct me like you have today and say "I was talking about dirty play, dude". The fact is you didn't. You went with what I posted, which to me suggests that I interpreted you correctly initially.
  • SQ_Crazies
No please do, please explain it. I'm not spinning anything. Like I said, apparently I didn't spell it out enough in the beginning but I have now. I'm not spinning anything.
