Slyde-biThanks for the link. Loved reading about what's about to happen. It's like Cliff's notes for TV.
-
Slyde-biHoly shit!!
-
Laley23Drogon!!
-
SportsAndLadyHoly shit. What an ending.
-
supermanDragons are op'd. Please nerf.
Damn that battle was great.
The lack of The Hound has been sad.
The Arya Sansa reunion was well done. -
SportsAndLadyJust out of curiosity, how did they get to the lannisters so fast? lol doesn't it takes weeks to travel that far?
-
superman
It took the Lannisters a long time to travel back from high garden would be the only feasible explanation.SportsAndLady;1865610 wrote:Just out of curiosity, how did they get to the lannisters so fast? lol doesn't it takes weeks to travel that far? -
SnotBubblesSo is Jamie dead or...??? They obviously left it open for debate.
-
SportsAndLadyI don't think he's dead. I think if they wanted to kill Jaime, they'd show him dead.

There has been teleportation this entire series. Ever notice how Euron tends to drive his boats at light speed?SportsAndLady;1865610 wrote:Just out of curiosity, how did they get to the lannisters so fast? lol doesn't it takes weeks to travel that far? -

It is obviously open ended. It's called a cliffhanger.SnotBubbles;1865621 wrote:So is Jamie dead or...??? They obviously left it open for debate. -

I mean it definitely makes the show better lolernest_t_bass;1865626 wrote:There has been teleportation this entire series. Ever notice how Euron tends to drive his boats at light speed? -

Varys is another one. He is in Dorne, then he's across the narrow sea.SportsAndLady;1865631 wrote:I mean it definitely makes the show better lol -

It's obviously transportation across water. It's called a boat.ernest_t_bass;1865632 wrote:Varys is another one. He is in Dorne, then he's across the narrow sea. -

Well, they didn't show the actual death of Stannis Baratheon or Alerie Tyrell....nor many others. So how is it so obvious? He was sinking to the bottom of a lake that was obviously deep with a ton of steel armor on.ernest_t_bass;1865627 wrote:It is obviously open ended. It's called a cliffhanger.
Maybe it's obvious to you because you're a douche bag who read the leaked script - but for the rest of us...it's hard to tell what is a cliffhanger and what is not in this show. -
AutomatikJamie is not dead. Hope this helps.

Laley23I don't think they'd kill Jaime that way. If they were to kill him, why not with Drogon eating him as he charged 2 frames earlier? It would be a lame way for him to go, when it could've been a badass way. Plus, it kills too many plot lines. Who will tell Cersei who killed Joffrey?
-
gut
I don't know. When he was charging I was thinking "wow, they really ARE going to kill him". I can't say if it would have been lame for him to die that way since it didn't happen. But you have a guy who has lost pretty much everything and been moping around for most of the series - after getting destroyed in a battle I thought a stupid and futile charge like that made total sense.Laley23;1865647 wrote:I don't think they'd kill Jaime that way. And I don't think he's dead. Drowning weighted down by armor just isn't going to happen (practically speaking, I'm not sure how easy it is to get that armor off by yourself, especially with only one hand).
The question now is does Cersei have anyone left to fight for her? And, conveniently, Bron and Jaimie are going to be re-united with Tyrion (assuming Dany takes them prisoner).
I'm guessing there's a good chance this whole "Seven Kingdoms" thing is wrapped up in one or two episodes (only 3 left this season!)....almost out of necessity to move on to the finale war with the WW. -
gutOtherwise, a truly epic battle that I didn't see coming! Pretty awesome to see Drogon fly over the horizon, with the viewer going "Oh, shit" pretty much just like Jaimie did.
Although, I thought it looked really out of place to have Dany sitting there in the middle of a battle trying to pull that spike out of Drogon. For some reason, reminded me of a chick pulling off to the side of the road and popping the hood with no clue what to do. -
Laley23Gut, him dying during the charge would've been cool. Him dying after being SAVED from the charge would be lame. Like, just have Drogon kill him, not have him be saved, then die anyway.
-
AutomatikAlso, that was Bronn who saved him.

I figured, but wasn't 100% sure.Automatik;1865655 wrote:Also, that was Bronn who saved him.
