More people will die from panicking about Ebola than Ebola.queencitybuckeye;1663830 wrote:More people in the prime of their lives will die from the flu in this country than Ebola. -

queencitybuckeyeNot accurate, but fast.

queencitybuckeyeHopefully, you'll be the case that proves us wrong.
-
queencitybuckeyeSo everyone from an "Ebola infected region" should be banned from traveling? It's your position that the DFW airport should be shut down?
-
fish82Amber Vinson had a fever while she was on the plane to/from Akron.

Not saying Akron is doomed, but it's apparent that the CDC needs to get their shit together, stat. -
pmoney25Well Sean Hannity said he talked to a Dr who said it could mutate into an airborne virus with zero evidence of such. That's all the proof I need.

Obviously no! Open borders for all. Per you and all the other Ebola experts, you can give it, but you can't get it.queencitybuckeye;1663905 wrote:So everyone from an "Ebola infected region" should be banned from traveling? It's your position that the DFW airport should be shut down? -

Even trolling has rules. Please don't claim I said something I didn't.TedSheckler;1663913 wrote:Obviously no! Open borders for all. Per you and all the other Ebola experts, you can give it, but you can't get it. -
TedShecklerNow you're an expert on trolling? Who knew we had such a celebrity on this site. A medical expert AND a trolling expert.
-
queencitybuckeye
No, that would be you. Those who can hang in grownup discussions, do so. Those who can't, troll.TedSheckler;1663916 wrote:Now you're an expert on trolling? -
TedShecklerYou're far superior. No doubt about it.

You don't. The sad part is your buddy is trolling. You actually believe some of what he said.SportsAndLady;1663922 wrote:Superior in all things. How do we keep up with his knowledge? -

He hasn't really said anything. He's mocking you.queencitybuckeye;1663923 wrote:You don't. The sad part is your buddy is trolling. You actually believe some of what he said. -

They're in complete control guys -
like_thatI can see both sides of the argument, but I am not surprised to see QCB/Gut be smug about this topic, and i am also not surprised to see ted go full retard to make his point.

Heretic
The great thing about Ted is that he's consistent with how he goes full retard, since he's doing the exact same thing he did during the World Cup "OMG!!! Soccer is so great guys!!!!"like_that;1663927 wrote:I can see both sides of the argument, but I am not surprised to see QCB/Gut be smug about this topic, and i am also not surprised to see ted go full retard to make his point. -

Again, there have been dozens of outbreaks in Africa. It isn't wiping out tribes, much less entire cities and countries. It's not airborne. This is a fact. The transmission efficacy is nothing like the flu or common cold. Again, a fact...an empirical fact.WebFire;1663692 wrote:If we believed what was on TV, we'd believe what you are saying. How is it you an expert on this? -

This. There likely will be more cases of Ebola. It's not going to spread like some epidemic or even the flu. Could end-up being hundreds of cases....still pretty low on the list of things to worry about, behind getting hit by a bus....heck, probably still more likely for your plane to crash then you are to catch Ebola on the plane.thavoice;1663826 wrote:Should be more worried about the flu season coming up..that kills hundreds and hundreds each year -
TiernanEbola in Akron would be considerd a "mercy killing".

I could see being considered smug on matters of opinion, but not on matters of fact. To what argument are you seeing both sides?like_that;1663927 wrote:I can see both sides of the argument, but I am not surprised to see QCB/Gut be smug about this topic, and i am also not surprised to see ted go full retard to make his point. -

The first part is correct. The second misses by a mile.SportsAndLady;1663925 wrote:He hasn't really said anything. He's mocking you. -
TedShecklerDon't worry guise, the CDC knows how to stop Ebola. Can't you tell? I mean, look at the guy helping to load the nurse on the plane with no protective gear?
