Ebola......Now on our shores. what happens next?

TiernanDallas will fall first and then the entire state of TX. OK and LA national guard will roadblock anyone trying to cross their borders out of TX. But a desperate mob of infected losers will make it thru and then the entire SEC will fall one state after another.

That, and their incredibly poor sanitation practices. Some areas literally try and filter their own shitter water for drinking.majorspark;1660168 wrote:The only reason people are croaking in the numbers they are from this is because they live in 3rd world countries with shitty healthcare systems. -

Someone from the CDC (I think) was on the other day and said they've handled dozens of outbreaks (most, if not all in Africa) over the years. And, like you said above, conditions in 3rd World countries are far more favorable for outbreaks yet they've still been able to manage and contain it.fish82;1660373 wrote:That, and their incredibly poor sanitation practices. We might see dozens, perhaps hundreds, of cases in the US (although that may be an extremely aggressive estimate - may not end-up being more than a handful). Mortality rates of at least 70% are scary if you contract it, but the odds of that are way below many other ways you can die. -
TiernanKeep burying your heads in the sand you naive twits...meanwhile im building an underground impenetrable shelter and stockpiling weapons, food, water waiting for Mr. Ebola to wipe the rest of you
out by the millions. -

Belly35How many Ebola victims have to show up in America before the public panics?
I can see this coming ISIS using Ebola to unset the economy of other nations, spread Ebola to Europe and the USA, creating a massive stress on the medical and financial of many nations.
Massive diversion and bio war without the use of chemical but people infected. -
BR1986FBSaw this morning that a cop in Dallas who visited the family of the victim who died is now showing symptoms. Sooooo, unless this cop licked their toilet seat, had a shit sandwich or a blood & piss "cocktail", I'm skeptical there aren't other ways it can be transported, like airborne.....

Is the family showing symptoms? Because they would have to be infected and showing symptoms. Also, the early symptoms are the same as the flu, so I'm skeptical the cop out visiting people has Ebola.BR1986FB;1662017 wrote:Saw this morning that a cop in Dallas who visited the family of the victim who died is now showing symptoms. or the symptoms presented were consistent with Ebola and any other number of illnesses, and the medical professionals are being extremely and rightly overly-cautious.BR1986FB;1662017 wrote:Saw this morning that a cop in Dallas who visited the family of the victim who died is now showing symptoms. Dumb graph. Are you saying something should be ignored until after it causes a bunch of deaths? I also can't contract heart disease from someone else. Or lung cancer, or an auto accident, or an unintentional fall.<iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" style="display: none;"></iframe>Scarlet_Buckeye;1662128 wrote:This whole ebola thing has blown absolutely way too far out of proportion.
