A Cruel Prank

I won't be surprised if they get off lightly, because there are people like you, ready to give them a free pass out of jail.HitsRus;1653063 wrote:^^^Being able to post videos to the internet is a relatively new phenomenon.
....and when your done mastering reading comprehension and vocabulary, you can advance to a course in logic and/or critical thinking.
I have not given the perpetrators of this cruel prank a free pass...I have said repeatedly that they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I have, however, tried to put this in perspective to other juvenile crimes, so when they don't get tried as adults, and thrown in prison for 10 years, you are not surprised.
How does an apologist operate when presented with a completely heinous crime against a handicapped young man. Well he begins to pay lip service to the obvious vicious crime committed. It is “despicable.”
But then he does everything possible to diminish the crime and the victim’s suffering.
How does he describe the act:
How dismissive he is of the victim.HitsRus wrote:
Porky's style prank
And his suffering is unworthy compared to the pain of others.HitsRus wrote:He probably went and took a shower and is fine.
for another victim of a heinous crime as if you can only have real concern for one person at a time, And this handicapped young man is unworthy it. Now that is hard hearted.HitRus wrote:I'm going to save my real concern
But hypocritically you do have concern but its for the perpetrators so when they have received their wrist slap punished they can live
That is APOLOGIST 101,HitsRus wrote:without having to carry an excessive lifelong burden created by that mistake.”

And somebody like you will save them from the harsh punishment they so richly deserve. -
rmolin73As much as isadore annoys me he's kicking HitsRus's ass.

HitsRus^^^seriously dude?...you need a course in reading comprehension as well.
You mean, like a judge? I'm an "apologist" for explaining the juvenile justice system to you? ...For enlightening your ignorant ass that by Ohio law people with disablities are not a protected class for an incident to be considered a hate crime.? ... I'm giving realities...you're spouting hyperbole. Worse, you are disingenuous by quoting what I said out of context. That is APOLOGIST 101,

An apologist in action, diminish the crime and attack the victim in its proper context.HitsRus;1653135 wrote:^^^seriously dude?...you need a course in reading comprehension as well.

Gosh a ruddies an extended attempt to diminish the crime does to this young man and protect the perpetrators.HitRus wrote: What these kids did was despicable, but we really don't need to stretch or reinterpret laws trying to nail these kids to the wall for what would have passed as a fraternity hazing/initiation ritual 50 years ago. Juvenile law is about appropriately punishing and counseling juveniles and their mistakes so that they can grow up productive members of society without having to carry an excessive lifelong burden created by that mistake.
People pour feces, urine and spit on handicapped people every day, what kind of children are raising and what kind of young sadists are you around that you find this an everyday occurrence.HitsRus wrote:Juveniles commit these crimes like this everyday. Would it make a difference if the Porky's style prank was done to a band geek?
sure just fine after being humiliated in public, no psychological scars from that, according to you.HitsRus wrote:As it stands, it is nothing more than a very cruel prank. The kid was taken advantage of, had a bucket of urine dumped on him. He probably went and took a shower and is fine.
Gosh Mr. Grinch, your heart is so small that you can only have concern for this one victim. And none left for a poor handicapped boy drenched in spit, urine and feces and put on the internet. Decent people can be concerned for both these victims and many others in our worldHitsRus wrote:As for me, I'm going to save my real concern for the Ohio teacher that had to have part of her brain removed because of a rock dropped thru her windshield.

And here we go. This thing has a stink all over it. I have learned that the school did not know or even consider this kid autistic - the family labeled him that. He's been friends with these same boys for years and they all play stupid gross jokes on each other regularly. Our vigilante society has gotten this one dead wrong. The kids who are in trouble have had death threats against their families.

this may be. But it seems reasonable that this was not a cruel crime, but a case of dumbass kids that played stupid stunts on one another. I bet there are videos of other gross or stupid stunts with other victims in the group of friends. They have been running as a group for years, so the idea that they are picking on the handicapped kid is a stretch.isadore;1653174 wrote:gosh a ruddies the guilty try to spin the story to mitigate their guilt

Keep apologizing for these poor little rich kids. I see it as a case of kids taking advantage of their mot trusting friend. Clean it upmas much as you want. You're even trying to provw that the kid isn't even autistic. You failed by the way. -

WebFireMy biggest problem with this is the trend we are starting to see of something getting posted on Facebook (or other social media), then people reacting and wanting to be judge and jury without really knowing anything about it. They go after person or persons with vengeance, to the point of ruining their life. Then often, we find out, once the facts are in, that the person either wasn't guilty or much less guilty than accused of.

gosh a ruddies, just like those two boys down in Steubenville who got accused of rape and these 5 guys who soaked an autistic boy in human waste. 7 victims right there. This coming from the guy who has no respect for due process.Hits is allowing isadore of all people to hang him with his own words.
...and I am only 'hung' (such an appropriate term from a vigilante) if you are purposely a troll or are stupid enough to believe that 14 year olds deserve 'hard time' for a cruel prank....or if you are so naive and in such a pristine protected world by mommy and daddy that you believe that human waste was never part of fraternity initiation rituals. I was a student rep on the IFC at my university in 1972, and I can testify that human waste was a part of several houses' hazing/initiation rituals. Several people on this thread have posted their experiences with high school antics. Ask any military whether they had any concerns about human waste in the middle of a firefight.
So please...don't equate the suffering and humiliation of having a bucket of waste dumped on you to the suffering of a mother and teacher who had to have part of her brain removed trying to learn to talk and walk again. Don't equate that with T.J.Lane walking into his high school and killing 4 people....or the kid who blew away 26 peole at Sandy Hook.
I'm not buying any of that.
If dumping a bucket of waste on a kid is an atrocity..what was T.J. Lane and Sandy Hook....a super duper atrocity? How about flying planes into skyscrapers?...is that a super duper mega atrocity? How about Hitler's extermination of the Jews?...is that an extra super duper mega atrocity?
I'm not buying any of that and any of the hyperbole.
As webfire and Boogie have noted, it is disturbing that so many people have so little regard for the law, so little regard for due process, so little regard for thorough, competent investigations, that they rush to judgement.....and that they think that people who hold those standards are apologists. -
WebFire

19 Action News Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor discovered the shocking new developments in the Ice Bucket Challenge attack on a 15-year-old Bay Village, Ohio boy.
Multiple sources are telling 19 Action News that the five teenage boys police have identified as suspects had no idea their good friend was autistic when they dumped water mixed with bodily fluids on him.
The mixture included urine and spit and nothing else.
The incident took place over night on August 18 and was reported by the victims parents as an assault on September 8.
Sources say the group of teens including the victim have a history of pulling physical pranks on each other including bleaching of hair and shaving off an eyebrow while a teen is sleeping.
They have grown up together and hung out as a group all summer long. The group didn't single the victim out or bully him.
Sources close to the investigation tell 19 Action News it was a prank typical of this group of friends and not an attack on a disabled person." -

Gosh a ruddies, HitsRus has such limited compassion for suffering. He has used it all up on the victims of Holocaust and school massacres that he has none left. Gosh according to his view other suffering does not deserve his “real concern.“ would not most victims of domestically are not dead so what are they whining about. The three guys that got beat up in the Kroger’s parking lot are not on life support , they got off lucky. And the autistic boy who was soaked by his supposed friends in human waste according to Mr. Hits “robably went and took a shower and is fine.’ Decent people can have compassion for all these folks but Hits’ is all gone. ’HitsRus;1653291 wrote:This coming from the guy who has no respect for due process.

Most humans sympathize with the autistic young man, but not Hits. He identifies with the perpetrators. After all when Hits was a frat boy on the IFC he and his buddies could get together and brag about their various acts of sadism toward the pledges. Gosh now its just another bunch of his type, they who decided to endanger, degrade and humiliate an autistic boy. And do something Hits and his cohorts could not do 40 plus years ago, broadcast it on the internet. -
