This is unrecoverable. You have taken Fairwoodkings crown.

The winner of the mens race finished in at 2 hour 10 minutes and 36 seconds I believe. But the do different starts so that was probably for the normal racers and not the "elite"

Eh, at least Rec acknowledged he was wrong.

The world record is right around two hours, I think.

Is the utmost example of bad taste reason enough to ban someone to the basement?

5 additional undetonated devices in the area.

Good lord. Hate think what could have been...

    Third death confirmed. Awful.

If that is true about the 5 additional devices found, no way this is the work of a single person.

So are we now 100% (or at least very close to that) certain this was an act of terrorism? 50/50 split on domestic vs international?

Why not? Could just walk past a trashcan and drop something in it.

    What brings that conclusion, detective?

If there really were 5 more live devices, why weren't they detonated? 2 duds, maybe, but given the other two went off in such coordinated fashion no way you had 5 duds. Perhaps one or more co-conspirators had a change of heart.

If the bombs were remotely activated by cell phones that could be the reason.

CNN is saying their was a dark skinned foreign speaking individual wearing a black sweatshirt carrying a black bag who was prevented access near the finish line shortly before the explosions.

I'd say the split is 95% international terrorism.

If that ever comes out as truth. Then someone deserves a huge medal and props.

Someone deserving the props would probably be Sprint/ATT/Verizon/whoevers piss-poor infrastructure that probably couldnt support the hundreds of thousands of people whipping out their phones at the drop of a hat.

The surge of users probably killed the cell phones initially...the cell operators might have helped it along after the fact.

It was not as coordinated as originally planned. Sounds like (either) one individual or multiple people were prevented access to a restricted area near the finish line.

I believe once the plan broke down and they couldn't get to exactly where as planned only two bombs got set off in the general spectator area.

But there were reports earlier that cell service was cut off by authorities whem they suspected a cell could be detonator

If you're implying they shutdown the networks to prevent more bombs from going off, besides that not being clear they did that it almost certainly doesn't happen quick enough.

But perhaps the two that went off were on timers and maybe the others were by cell that malfunctioned.

Pure speculation. If they were using cell phones, not hard to re-coordinate. Or simply once the first blast goes off the others could have just as easily detonated, which at least one did (assuming there were multiple conspirators).

One or two people trying to explode multiple device remotely...yeah, then I could see the network crashing before they were able to do that.

Yea I'm not rebutting this. The placement of the bombs is all I'm saying.

Verizon and Sprint both denied that any request to cut off service was placed.

Well alright then. Good info. Hadn't heard that.

I'd call this terrorism. No idea on domestic or international. Im actually leaning towards domestic seeing that it seems Newton families were targeted.

Yea, just like the Saudi Arabian that was tackled because he was running away from the explosion (like everybody else). Or the supposed Saudi Arabian suspect who was detained in the hospital. He was prevented access so, how could he have planted the bomb, and if he did plant it why would he be going back to it? Its a possibility it is a foreigner, but I cannot stand this racist bullshit.
