Haha. Although, in reality, I could give a shit what you drink. Drink all the Beam and leave the rest for me. :)

Tried Crown Maple and that stuff was terrible. Think it's going to be hard to top Crown Royal for me but I'm going to try. Going to start trying a new Whisky(mostly Canadian whiskys) every week and will give reviews as I'm going through. Any first recommendations from the OC?

R&R or rich and rare is decent substitute for crown. Its a lot cheaper as well, but there is a slight taste difference but for the price its worth a try. The Crown maple I thought was horrible as well way to sweet and just did not taste good to me at all.

The maple doesn't even sound appealing. If you have a strong liking for Crown, you may never find a Canadian that you like better, at least in the price range. I'm not up much on the Canadians though.

I didn't end up getting drunj. That stuff is too tasty to waste on getting wasted.

Anyone try the "Cleveland" whiskey yet? Supposedly it's aged 6 years in 6 months through some sort of pressured aging process. I bought a bottle but have no real clue as to what good whiskey is supposed to taste like. But it was alright

Most Glenlivet is pretty overrated IMO.

Yeah, Glenlivet does seem to get a lot more credit than it probably should.

It's not a bad Scotch. I'd think of it like a call brand, honestly. Decent stuff, but your top shelf Scotch it is not.

    Like Glennfiddich. Love Laphroig.

Still sticking with Woodford Reserve. I usually get a bottle every other week after I have a couple of drinks of it at my cigar tastings.

The sad thing is it only lasts a couple of days. Can't help it as I love it.

I'll have to try R&R this week and let you know what I think. I really do love Crown though, had quite a bit Friday night and Saturday night. Crown and Coke is my drink.
