Anyone can troll a website, but it takes talent to troll a whole town

I think the average, innocent 6 year old orphan dying of starvation in Africa has a bigger gripe with God about "not trying hard enough on me" than I do...

Like hard enough to "convert" or whatever. If there is a god, he's pretty lazy and pretty weak that a mere mortal can block him out. He's also an asshole who kills kids for fun.

    Enjoy!
Because as we all know, Physics is 100% about gravity and nothing else. ;)

For such a hardcore pseudo-intellectual, you ain't much of a deep thinker, are ya? Just sayin.

Graduated from Ohio State Summa Cum Laude. I've probably read more books in one weekend than you have in your entire life. I'd rather not spend effort trying to convince believers with rationality, they don't play by the same rules. Why is that? Because rationality and religion do not mix; its not worth the effort.
Oh cool...this is always my favorite part of the thread!

I graduated 3rd in my class at Duke...double major in Behavioral Psychology and Molecular Biology. PhD in Behavioral Economics from Yale. I've read more books in an afternoon than you have in your entire life. My wife is a supermodel and I have a 4800 sq ft house on a golf course.

    Oh, and I have a 10-inch cock.

    Internets.....gotta love 'em.

This way when I die it doesn't matter if it's God, Jehovah, Jesus, Allah, Sheeva, Xenu, Flying Spaghetti Monster, Zeus, Unknown Deity X, Liam Neeson or whoever else is the creator/manager of the universe waiting to greet me I'll be screwed all the same. At least I won't break the "don't worship any other gods" commandment.
That commandment wouldn't exist without the Judeo-Christian scriptures.

Since that is the case, it doesn't matter if there were any other deity "when it's all been said and done." Without the Judeo-Christian doctrine, there would be no Allah either. There would be no Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons either.

Beside that, the philosophy of "believe in God in case he exists" is really not THAT good of a reason to profess Christianity. If that were the reason, then there probably isn't much internally to actually proclaim Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior.

Apparently you have never played Final Fantasy X (a video game with a world religion at least 4x better and more believable than X-ianity).

It was an example to show that I don't have to know everything about religion to know its glaringly obvious flaws. I'm not going to expel effort to actually shred believer logic when the rules change constantly and faith is allowed to be invoked. These debate tactics are unfair since rationality dictates one perspective and nothing dictates the believer side.

I don't care about your boasts, nor if you don't think mine are accurate. I get my paper made quite easily, and I'm proud of the accomplishments in my life so far. Whether you believe them or not is irrelevant, I will offer whatever proof you'd like should we ever meet in person.

"Having flaws" (with which I happen to agree) is not the same as "a crock of cult-like BS." You need to pick a platform.

Really? It strikes me that on this thread anyway...you're expelling a great deal of effort.

Is Scientology a cult? It's the same as Christianity. How does it feel to be associated with Scientology?

Also typing is almost effortless. What generation did you think I grew up in? It doesn't take much deep thinking to shred religious belief.

Comments like "Prove it". "If God created all of this, who created God?" It's EZ.

    No it isn't.

    Uh huh.

It's a religious belief based on faith. It most certainly is the same thing.

The theists can never be persuaded. Cults build in logical loopholes to get out of having to realize that their beliefs can't stand up to any scrutiny. This thread is Exhibit A.

LOL...it has its roots in basic scientific and psychological principles. It's "based on faith" about as much as the writings of Sigmund Freud.

    K. I'll check back in a couple of days and see if you've made any progress. :)

It seems to me this thread is more an example of why people can't get along. Can't we just accept that other people have different beliefs and leave it at that.

It's definitely based on faith. Nothing in Scientology has been proven. Logic does not dictate their faith.

They are the same. How does that feel?

We absolutely can. Provided those with their own beliefs stay out of the lives of those who are belief neutral. Until Christianity is out of the US governments policy decisions, there will always be relentless attacks on its credibility.

LOL...great I guess, considering that you're just flinging shit against the wall to mask your lack of understanding of Scientology. Had you worked in Dianetics and some other texts on any given weekend where you're reading 100 books, you'd know that all the theraputic concepts are fully based on the established psychological concepts of Freud and other prominent psychologists over the years.

So, if your question pertains to how it feels watching you yet again show how grossly uninformed you are, then I guess I'd have to say "pretty good."

You are pushing your beliefs on them just as hard as they are pushing theirs on yours.

So they have evidence than Xenu killed everyone in a nuclear volcano? Interesting. I'd like to see your evidence. No? Then its faith based.

And who said I read 100 books in a weekend? Talk about flinging shit.

If Xenu was the basis (hence, "faith based") for the "religion," then you'd have a point. He/She isn't, so you don't. It sounds like you're equating Xenu with a god/jesus figure, which would be patently incorrect.
