The Walking Dead (tv show)

This one was real slow until the end. IMO, I think what will happen is Randall will escape, find his group and then lead them back to the farm, but before we get to see what happens it will be the end of this season and we'll be left hanging until next season.Automatik;1106699 wrote:I thought last week's episode was badass. This one....not so much. I was a bit disappointed. -
AutomatikLike others have said, the writing is a bit sloppy.
Carl is annoying. You're in the middle of the zombie apocalypse, yet you are constantly leaving your kid unattended? wtf? -

Especially after what happened to Sophia. These writers have been lazy. What about the previous episode when Shane was cutting his finger with a knife to wipe blood as a deterrent; wasn't that the same knife he killed a walker with? Would he really want to mix blood like that?Automatik;1106711 wrote:Like others have said, the writing is a bit sloppy.

AutomatikRandall's leg magically being healed after being impaled on a wrought iron fence?

Maybe. I'm not sure the writing for Carl is all that sloppy, as far as "kids will be kids". It does seem like he would be under constant watch, but I tend to think they have their hands full in the zombie apacolypse - not like the modern conveniences of going to the grocery store and all that are available to them. Realistically I don't think you'd have time to watch him 24/7.Automatik;1106711 wrote:Like others have said, the writing is a bit sloppy.

The main problem with Carl's character, IMO, is he's probably not the best child actor out there. -

After killing a zombie, they wipe the knife on the zombie's dirty shirt and they're good to go!dwccrew;1106715 wrote:Especially after what happened to Sophia. These writers have been lazy. But if you want to nitpick, why was Dale out on patrol alone? They have not just zombies to worry about but that other group, as well. -

I didn't think he was on patrol, I am pretty sure he walked away on his own because he didn't want to be around when they executed Randall.gut;1106821 wrote:After killing a zombie, they wipe the knife on the zombie's dirty shirt and they're good to go!

Kind of interesting how Shane seems to keep being the one to discipline and lecture him. I don't know if it's intentional to show Rick is a leader but not a father, but there are other examples to support that conclusion.Thinthickbigred;1107220 wrote:right the boy needs corrected like yesterday . bo shemmy3337Sucks they leaked Shane"s death. They are getting really sloppy and it is turning into a soap opera IMO.

Google it if you want to ruin the last 2 shows of the year. I wish I did not lol. The soap opera comment is just because it seems we all want to see who dies next when before (season one) it was more about how to survive and all the close calls along with who is going to die next. season one there were hundreds of walkers many times and they found ways to fight and survive. Last week we got one and carl threw rocks at it.hoops23;1107368 wrote:lol, what? -

I already know Shane dies. It's in the novel.bo shemmy3337;1107371 wrote:Google it if you want to ruin the last 2 shows of the year. I wish I did not lol. The show had a great 1st season, and pretty good 1st half 2nd season. The 2nd half of season 2 has been on par with Season 1. The last couple of episodes have been great.
The Walking Dead has always been about who dies. Because at any moment they could kill of an important character. It's what made the graphic novels so great. -
bigdaddy2003I'm glad Dale is gone.

Nice job, fucking ruiner.bo shemmy3337;1107360 wrote:Sucks they leaked Shane"s death. They are getting really sloppy and it is turning into a soap opera IMO. -
bigdaddy2003The only reason I knew about Shane's death is because my brother is a douche and told me JJ Abrams has already cast him in his next show.
-
Thinthickbigredwhy is it known that Shane dies? How can this happen ?
-
Fab1bI hope little Carl is next! He is about to get himself (and he got Dale killed) killed and he thinks he is all the sudden a little bad ass!

bigdaddy2003Question for those who know the graphic novel:
Will they be leaving the farm soon and will the show pick up again soon as far as zombie action? Basically you can just answer the latter question and I will be alright. I know hoops said to him the novel was great because any character could die but I can't feel that way about the show. I just don't like enough of the characters to be happy with Shane's death. If a character as big as Shane is going to die I need much more walker action. -

My mistake. I just figured most people would know this by now because of all the events that point to it. I wish i did not know either and I apologize.Automatik;1108269 wrote:Nice job, ****ing ruiner. -

There will be plenty of action in S3, with or without Shane.. The Governor storyline is probably the most popular one in The Walking Dead universe. It even spun a separate book to detail "The Rise of the Governor."bigdaddy2003;1108303 wrote:Question for those who know the graphic novel:

hoops23I'm also wondering if the group Randall was apart of is actually the Governor's group... When he was telling the story about the two guys raping the chicks and making their dad watch... That sounded like something The Governor would do.
